Stop being a tool. There is no reason why I should be required to check in to some dumb service just to sit down and play a single player game for awhile.
People who are defending this console seriously are stupid. If you want to pay more for weaker hardware and all these restrictions, go right ahead.
I don't give a damn what's better for the companies, they make enough money off games already. I'm not going to sacrifice control of my games and sy...
Try using Virtualbox with FreeDOS installed in a virtual machine and run the game through that.
Pro EA perhaps but that's as far as it goes...
At least working ones will be a rare collectors item by then I guess lol.
Perhaps not, but it won't look good when the real console runs at half the speed of what was shown and has stability issues...
Guitar Hero says hi.
Or just buy a PS1?
I hope you're ready to bend over and take all you get from Microsoft, since that is what's going to happen.
I don't really like the Wii-U, but i'd rather have one of those than an XBOne, I'm not going to take what MS wants to give me.
Lol, even a low end gaming PC would be more powerful than the Xbox One. You don't actually have to build a high end one to beat it.
Some people simply prefer consoles though, not going against that. My point simply being you could just buy a gaming PC instead of getting a XBOne or PS4 if you really wanted to, it's up to the choice of the gamer.
I personally will game on PC primarily, and have a PS4 for the console exclusives such as Armored Core and ...
Or just buy a decent gaming PC... problem solved.
I'd love to play the games, sadly the console keeps threatening to lock me out of them.
The Dreamcast has a bigger chance of making a surprise appearance as a budget console and dominating this gen than the Xbox One does imo, that's how bad it looks to me.
Stop being stupid. I agree that extra features such as Netflix are good, which I use on my PS3 often, but basing an entire console around it is just silly.
It's not even this that annoys me about the Xbox One though, it's the whole DRM idea. Game consoles were once "insert game and play" devices. This is no longer the case, consoles now have the 'features' that people used to complain about on the PC compared to consoles. DRM, installs, DLC etc.
Some people just want to watch the world burn.
My 800XL recently suffered the memory test error screen and no longer works :(
Oh well, had some good times on it back in the day.
Nintendo is the last company I'd expect to be saying this...
Still better than the Wii.
That's just win.
I'd love a Quackshot remake too, Disney used to make good games back in the day.
PS1 and PS2 BC should be easy. Your average x86 based PC can emulate PS1 and PS2 games easily. It annoys me that they aren't even considering this.
PS3 games however, I understand why they would not implement this. Even the most powerful PCs out there could not emulate the PS3, and including real PS3 hardware inside the PS4 would not be cost effective.
The fact that the PC I am using right now can run PS1 and PS2 games easily through emulation annoys me t...
You mean Xbox exclusive DRM?
