He IS! He literally is. They're banking on celebrities to drive sales with this game, and I really hoe it back fires. This is becoming more and more generic.
Wow. Way to pick nothing but more bad examples.
I think Microsoft needs to let Remedy do their own thing, instead of giving them more money to just sling around.
He IS a Hollywood actor! Microsoft wants this game to succeed so bad they are just dumping money into it. Surely you noticed a few other big celebrities at Gamescom...
As someone in their 30s, I can definitely relate to a lot of this. There used to be a sort of mystery about a new game, you had to learn shit for yourself and it was cool to run into fellow gamers you could share your experiences with and learn from. Nowadays everyone is a goddamn know it all, there's tons of baseless DLC, spoilers all over the frwaking place... I guess a lot of it really is the internet gaming community that is so angry and critical, it can really put a damper on the ex...
Yeah, because buying AA batteries and replacing them constantly is SO 2015. These click bait articles are so ridiculous. The battery life is fine, plus you can play while it's charging, so what is even your point?
Dude, it's worse than that though. Tomb Raider STARTED on the PSOne. Lara was a Sony mascot, back in the day. For M$ to be so blatantly desperate for exclusivity is pathetic.
I don't think it will "hurt" the franchise, per se, but I'm sure it will sell better for the PS4 than the Xbox One.
The reasoning behind this seems so obvious. Nolan North is simply more available. Can you imagine having to delay all kinds of content because Dinklage isn't available to record voice work? This is North's bag, I'm sure he'll be a fine replacement.
People can't seriously be excited for this game. This just screams pop culture cash in garbage to me. "Hey, kids like dragons and dubstep, right?" Then again, maybe most of you are kids? I'll admit that it's pretty and has a cool aesthetic but everything else is moronic; the dialogue, in particular.
What the hell? Why am I adding another 20 gigs, or however much it's up to by now, just for a more and more buggy game? Seriously, 1.07 is almost unplayable for me. This better actually fix things.
Remasters are typically handled by smaller developers. The original developers ARE still working on new stuff. Don't want a remaster? Don't buy it. Plenty of us obviously are though.
Anyone who has actually played these remasters knows they're worth it. Sure it may be annoying that you've played the game before, but these versions are a huge improvement. Last gen was WAY laggy and the steady 60fps helps tremendously.
Like this surprises anyone anymore. I think the only Xbone games that'll hit 1080 are the exclusives.
I'm not a big Xbox guy, but I have to hand it to them this time. Great presence. Quantum Break and Crackdown 3 look incredible.
I'm sorry but this game looks absolutely moronic. Blatant desperate cash in. "Teens like dragons and dubstep, right?" Don't even get me started on the dialogue. Looks pretty though.
@Wowsochill
You mean that other remaster collection that ALSO isn't out yet? Go away, Xboner.
Sweet! More ignorant click bait. I love these things!
Wait. After all this bullshit about MS wasting $10 million for a year long exclusivity deal, to "compete with Sony's Uncharted franchise", they are totally just going to shoot themselves in the foot by releasing it the same day as Fallout 4? Holy hell, these guys not only appear to love flushing money down the toilet, but they are also complete morons.
Will everyone PLEASE stop talking about Tomb Raider like it's an ACTUAL exclusive? Jeez. Microsoft shelled out $10 million for that year long exclusivity deal, because to them it's all a big dick swinging competition.
Tomb Raider STARTED on Playstation and has been there this whole time. Xboners don't give two shits about Lara Croft; MS just wanted to compete against Uncharted because, let's face it, Halo and Gears are tired IPs and it's all they have.
So let's just forget about E3 then, shall we? Nevermind TGS and Playstation Experience are still coming up. But yes, by all means, claim victory for M$ for having ONE good conference in two years.
