It really is drastically different, in a good way. I can't believe how much smoother and less clunky it felt. Drake's Fortune was always my least favorite of the three, but this makes it WAY more tolerable. It literally feels like a Crash/Jax/Uncharted conglomeration.
Ooops, you're wrong. Sorry fan boy
Wow. They must mean Xbox 360, right? :P
This is just getting laughable.
See what happens when M$ gets their hands on Tomb Raider?
It's up to the consumer. People are buying them, correct? Then they are worth it. Stop bitching about how much you don't like them, and just don't buy them. There are more games being released in this generation than any previous one. You have a shit ton to choose from. Some of us like revisiting a classic game, and others have never played them before, so why not have a better, smoother version?
Exactly. Aside from Sunset Overdrive and Ori, I can't even think of any Xbox One games currently out that I want to play. Halo will be out soon though, so that's something. Tomb Raider will be on PS4 next year... So yeah, still really nothing drawing me in. Maybe ReCore?
I don't care what anyone says, Sunset Overdrive would have sold WAY more units on the PS4. Could have even been a huge hit. Oh well, just another dead end IP now. At least Insomniac is back at with Ratchet and Clank.
Everyone is a critic on the internet. Just hope gamers can recognize the difference between a legitimate review and someone who's just whining for petty reasons.
I would hardly call the first game bad, but they definitely refined Uncharted with the second one. Even the graphics on the first game are pretty embarrassing by today's standards, and I thought it was the most gorgeous game ever in 2007.
It's Platinum Games so... Yeah, I'd expect it to as well.
We're coming up on an interesting time. Could consoles be a thing of the past? Sure. Could hand held gaming end? Sure. But I think people like OPTIONS and have PREFERENCES. New tech will come and go but, like board games before, I think there will always be people who want to game a particular way. Console gaming may die down over the years, but I think there will always be a market for it.
Can anything run at 1080 on Xbone, aside from exclusives and last gen remasters?
You are technically correct. But sales show that most people don't really give a crap about Xbox, outside of the US.
Playstation has been dominating since 1995... Just a head's up.
Wait. What is this click bait article even about? Who has the prettier console? You guys are just getting silly.
Really? Then actually check out the plethora of Indies the PS4 has to offer, rather than making fun of them, and you'll find that the PS4 has a huge variety of games.
What in the hell? Tribal chick in a post apocalyptic future with robot dinosaurs... how is that anything like a high fantasy world where a Dante-like douche kid listens to dubstep while riding a dragon?
Of course he's not concerned. It'll sell more on the PS4, regardless of when it's released :)
You do realize that Mario was new and over $60 at one time, right? How long does it it take to beat those first few games again? Less than 30 minutes? Don't be elitist, it's just not your type of game. Length isn't the only thing that matters to some people.
Microsoft caters to the average American gamer, simple as that. They typically like straight forward shooters, with lots of DLC and multiplayer content. REAL gamers, however, accept that there are no limits on what makes a game enjoyable :)
