Oh sweet. Is it not going to suck this time?

ES is suddenly talking a lot, eh? They bummed by Syndicate sales or something?

3730d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Lol. Wait. They're joking, right? That pretty much seems to be their take on gaming these days.

Hey, same temperature as the inside of a Tauntaun.

I'll cut them some slack when I see something to draw me in. Right now it's probably Sunset Overdrive more than anything. And that is a fucking sore subject because it is ANOTHER example of M$ throwing money around to get an exclusivity deal. But whatever, they HAVE money, right? May as well do what they can.

There are people who say games that are too short aren't worth full price. I say it's more like these sort of games that aren't worth it. Titanfall, Evolve, Battlefront etc. You shell out all this money just to play short matches with children screaming about being balls deep in your mom. To top it off, these games are overrun with day one DLC and microtransactions. Somebody must be flushing LOTS of money down the drain, if so many are following suit with this sales model.

See? You get it. Most people forget that. I remember Crash, Spyro and Lara were PS1 mascots.

Actually, that is one of my biggest complaints. Why did M$ shell out $100 million for this exclusivity deal in the first place? To try and blatantly attack Sony this holiday season. They just throw money at things, hoping something will stick. But it really was a terrible idea, because most Xbox guys aren't into Tomb Raider and it's been on Sony consoles since its inception.

The answer to all of this is simple: M$ wanted to attack Sony this holiday season by releasing two huge games a week apart, Halo 5 and RotTR. But it was doomed from the get go. Why the same day as Fallout 4? Just the usually cocky crap they're known for, I guess.

Tomb Raider has always sold better on Playstation and Lara was even a PS1 mascot, back in the day. That timed exclusivity deal was $100 million they may as well have just flushed down the toilet.

Eh, some people say The Order isn't worth full price. I say duping people to shell out $60+ for an online multiplayer only game, with $200+ of day DLC and microtransactions is a huge fucking rip off but, hey, that's just my opinion.

Can you imagine if everyone wanted to change their IDs all the time? I don't blame Sony for not wanting to bother with it. I could see potential for some colossal fuck ups. Just think of a better name in the first place? Then again, I guess I've had it easy, since mine has existed for 9 years now :P

Come on, Sony fans, don't write your own click bait articles now. We can enjoy both games next year, and both franchises are great.

3733d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

Why would Microsoft bother with backwards compatibility AND Sony's rental like equivalent?

3733d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

It's Halo, man. It's all Xbots have been waiting for. It IS their system seller. The Xbox One outsold the PS4 for one week. Big deal.

3733d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

You guys are looking at Uncharted's SECOND week. First week, it was number one. 540,000 units or something.

3735d ago 43 agree16 disagreeView comment

I don't think you quite know what that word means...

3735d ago 5 agree5 disagreeView comment

Yeah that's why I buy a specific game, to turn all my characters into Ninja Turtles or some shit. That is exactly what turns me off about PC gaming, all the silly mods.

3735d ago 2 agree8 disagreeView comment

Halo 5 comes out and suddenly Xbox One has so many games! Look at the numbers from 3 weeks ago. Top three games, all PS4, 1.1 million units sold. Xbox One didn't even push 300k. Give me a break. Halo 5 will give it a boost, but how long can that last? Can't ride on Master Cheif's coat tails forever.

I wouldn't mind. It's usually time to shake things up after a new generation. I trust whatever they choose to do.

3736d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I wouldn't call it dumb, but yes, they should have released it at a different time. M$ is trying to dominate this holiday by having Tomb Raider and Halo come out a week apart. I get they want to catch up to Sony and all, but this is not the way to do it. The average Xbox guy is more apt to buy Fallout or Halo 5. Tomb Raider was a Sony mascot for years, and that is where the bulk of the fan base is. Honestly, the whole year exclusivity buy out was just dirty business period.
