Relying strictly on first party games for exclusive titles is silly. Look at what it's done to Nintendo :P Of course it makes sense to deal with third party developers. I thought Sony had been doing it already?
It really is a mixed bag. Half cheesy, half awesome. It's like a CW show meets a Starz or HBO show.
Guess again :)
Doesn't this guy realize that Microsoft HAS to make changes, cut prices and rip Sony off whenever they can, just to stay in the game?
Hey, check it out, an asshole.
Why not? Especially if you have yet to play it. GoW 3 was one of the most graphically impressive PS3 games. I can only imagine it would still be gorgeous even by today's standards.
Though I agree with the general sentiment, it would be nice to see a competent adult writing such articles. Too many 15 year olds writing click bait and flame bait bologna these says.
That being said, Xboners really do need more games. I get that they like Halo and the color green, but there HAS to be more reasons to buy the console than that.
It's also okay to write tons of opinion pieces and click bait articles about how much you hate Bloodborne too. Give it a rest, pussies.
Can someone please create some click bait for Xbone exclusives? Oh wait! There aren't any!
Oh look, another fan boy reaching for reasons why a Playstation game sucks. "It's too hard. I need my constant auto saves! Boo hoo!" Go back to playing Call of Doody or Titanfall, crybaby.
Awwww, it's cute how N4G allows random teenagers to write so many opinion based articles lately.
Yeah, what are you saying? Obviously MS wasn't ready. They still don't have any games out and have had to cut prices several times AND change their entire "vision" for the console. On top of that, they're just copying Sony's business models left and right. How many higher ups have been fired or quit too, btw? If it wasn't for the promise of more Halo, they'd totally be in the shitter.
This suspend/resume thing is awesome. I love coming back to my console a day or two later to find everything is exactly how I left it. Games and apps paused right where you left them. I didn't see the appeal at first, but it's kind of amazing. Never would have imagined it a few years ago even.
He is aware that "mildly" means NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL, right?
Wow. This website is absolutely impossible to navigate with a windows phone.
That being said, Battlefield Hardline got the same score on this site so, yeah, not trusting it :P
Rather than going solely off a number, I actually read the review to see what the critic's gripes are. If they're things that don't typically bother me, I won't let it affect my feelings about the game.
The Order, for example, most critics' problems with it, aren't things that bother me. Length, linearity, whether or not it has multiplayer. I can enjoy a game with a solid short campaign, as long as it makes up for it in other areas.
@wobblypopz
So you'll drop $500 on a console that has no exclusives just because you think XBL is better? Hmmmm... interesting. Makes you sound more like an MS fan boy :P
Yeah, it started on the PS3. It was FF Versus XIII a decade ago. Still, it looks incredibly more impressive since then, all jaggies aside.
Exactly, if they can get this to 1080P, I don't mind the lower frame rate. The demo looks kind of lackluster compared to some of the videos they started releasing a few months back. Not that I mind a whole lot; haven't been this stoked for a Final Fantasy game in a long time.
Nah, it's this patch. Just experienced the quicker loading times myself last night. Huge improvement
