Few hours is not a big difference but a few days ..yes. You have a huge advantage of figuring out the map and where to flank just a few times playing.

The right thing to move industry forward is to buy Skyrim but the fun, entertaining, and instant action is MW3. I'm buying MW3 first and then Skyrim will have to wait until the Winter holidays.
Life would be boring if one of the genres did not exist, but I must say in the modern day the FPS is dominant. I'm not a relic so I'm not going to back to the PS2,PS1, and SNES to play old games with visuals that don't stand up to today.
Agree but bots are not necessary. That would inflate stats. Usually it's much easier to kill a bot than a human.

That's rediculous because MW3 looks better than any other multiplatform multiplayer fps shooter on consoles.
I'm predicting Skyrim=Battlefield 3 such that console gamers get shafted and the PC version slightly suffers because they had to make three versions of the game. Game of the Year is between Batman and Uncharted 3.
Gears 3 actually exceeded my expectations but it's not doing enough the "newness factor" category. Every other game being nominated gives you a slightly more new experience.

New direction is making it PC, PS3, and Wii U only. Xbox 360 is holding game development behind. You can still make fun games on 360 but technology wise it's holding everything back.
Nope Xbox and Gamecube wet basically third place because they both did so poorly compared to PS2. Xbox was a $4 billion loss and Gamecube made a little money. At the end of the day it's about money and marketshare.
True 1080p on consoles has been done. Many examples of that.. look it up. Just that for "every game" on WiiU is gonna be 1080p
I'm boycotting Nintendo products from now on. They make me very angry for wasting so much money on the system and accessories, and I never play them.
Never said MW3 has any changes. Don't get me wrong I wanted MW3 to succumb to BF3 for competition sake but that didn't happen. Sadly MW is still king. And I'm mad about that.
With MW3 you know what you're getting into. New maps, new perks, leveling up, bragging rights, complaining to friends whats going on in the game, kdr etc. It's entertaining for a month for me personally.

Because if you buy MW3 in February it's gonna be a different game. Playing a juggarnaut multiplayer game on release is a much different and better experience then playing in February. There's less cheesing and more fairness(because everyone is new and mostly at the same level).
On the other hand Skyrim is Skyrim pretty much when you play it on release date or three months from now.
What a shame.. people finally realize PS3 is the best, but they're buying it so late in the cycle.
I got the PS3 version of BF3 because it was the better version and now I'm gonna get the 360 version of MW3 because it's the better version. I just hope you can use the right bumper too shoot and left bumper to aim because triggers are too slow and create too much recoil on the controller.

I think we are approaching the limit of shooter fans that don't have a xbox 360, PS3, or PC. Casual games and budget games are what sell systems at this time of the life cycle of these consoles.
