And above about PS4 not having PS3 backwards compatibility. So first the haters complain about price when they have the BC in it, but when they take it out to decrease cost the haters complain too?
Sounds a lot like the complaints about the PS3 prior and during the launch. Well.. that's fine because I will be one of the few that will buy it and defend it to anger the haters haha.
Also it is known that PSP piracy was widespread, so don't give me that BS that you actually bought the game. And the proprietary memory cards are to prevent piracy.
Day 1 purchase!
It's made by Sony which means I will buy it day-1 and no matter what the cost is!
XV "Awesome" from the NBA 2k12 soundtrack!
This is a Super Smash bros killer. From technical and creative standpoint, Sony has the advantage.
1. Ocarina of Time
2. A Link to the Past
3. Windwaker
4. Skyward Sword
Whatever it is I'm gonna buy it day one. Next generation I'm buying VITA, PS4, and Xbox 3 day one. I'm boycotting Nintendo.
Maybe you guys are just so starved for a RPG. Stop pointing fingers at other people who you think are being shallow, when maybe you maybe slightly shallow yourself.
Skyrim is game of the year. But the top games of this generation are still COD4, Uncharted 2, Oblivion, Mass Effect 1, and then finally Skyrim. In that order.
There needs to be more exclusives in general. I beleive all games should be exclusive to one system besides sports games. It makes for better games and increases system sales. The only benefit for multiplatform is the developer and publisher makes more money.
More money doesn't mean better games. It just means they get more complacent like Modern Warfare, Assasins Creed, Resident Evil etc. Instead of getting a 9 rating game we get a 8 rating game.
It use to be worth it but now games are getting cheaper on release date. Games are still 59.99 msrp but it is very common to get a game for 49.99 or 39.99 with a $10 or $20 discount, and then you also get free shipping online. So you save money on gas and tax. On Amazon you can get the game on release date too. Then after you get bored of the game after one month, you can sell it back or trade it back for $30.
Gamefly is around $15 a month but you don't get it on release ...
disregard
If anything, he prooves the point why Zelda should be getting more 8.x scores instead of 9.x scores. It's the same formula on limited hardware and using unconventional controls.
He compares other games like Modern Warfare which is uncalled for because a shooter is gonna be a shooter. You can't really deviate from that on limited hardware. COD gets 8.x scores. Zelda gets 9.x scores.
Ignores 3DS and waits for Vita*
PANDA!
IF..., big if. If Modern Warfare 3 was the first COD that came out this generation then Modern Warfare 3 would be the best game of the three. If you compare the features, replay value, and technicalities then Modern Warfare 3 is considerably greater experience. But since there have been five COD games this generation, Modern Warfare 3 is not giving us anything particularly new and therefore Skyrim is the best of the three.
That's a pretty accurate list. The Fight: Lights Out slayed me within 10 minutes.
Within three months of Halo 4 release there's gonna be a Xbox 3 annouced.
It's not just what you get and what you see on screen. It's the experience and excitement of getting the new system.
This is about Mass Effect 3. I always liked the series for its technical side and the dialogue trees. I never really liked the setting, the story, or the characters.
Other than the snow level in Mass Effect 1 and Wrex there's no memorable things really. Mass Effect 3 is going to be out on maxed out consoles so no technical or graphical leap there. Count me out on this game.
This being said Mass Effect 1 is a top 10 game this generation.
