I wish I could say this looks good but it still looks shockingly awful to me. The zombies sort of bounce jogging after you in perfect formation just looks weird. They move like South Park characters. I'm still expecting a shameful waste of a great franchise and a waste of two fantastic actors. Speaking of which it's weird to see Michael Rooker in his classy actor clothes being a regular charming fella. I've only ever seen him as some kind of psycho lowlife before.
I'm pretty sure at this point I must be the most intelligent person who ever lived.
Let's just hope they discover something similar about masturbation. Then I'll be unstoppable.
I was going to make a jokey comment about how it looks terrible and how I've already played better looking games this gen, then I read the comments on that site and saw people saying exactly that for real. Then I got sad.
Damn, I KNEW that final quote was from Suda51 before I even clicked the title on this site. Even the guy's soundbites are instantly recognisable.... and pervy.
It's still all very civil here but here's my prediction for the future of this comment thread.
Killrasasin802 - stupid revewe this game is the best game I ever plaid
SensibleJoe - I have to agree with this review. I love GOW but this one just didn't do it for me. There wasn't really anything wrong with it but it really felt like the game was retreading very familiar ground.

Ah question marks. Lifelong pal of the hit-hungry, lazy journalist.
I understand why they had to use this box art and I doubt it really says anything about the game but really, it's a pretty sorry state the industry is in when the cover art purposefully has nothing to do with the actual game. Ideally cover art is supposed to sum up the overall theme of the game but sadly we're reduced to this ridiculous situation of having to lie by suggesting the game is just another easy to digest shooter on the cover just so enough people play it to cover the cost ...
It is taking me longer than it probably should to get through because I personally have just not been in the mood for this extreme level of niceness and cuteness recently. That truly is just a personal taste thing though. As far as the actual game goes, the only thing that even comes close to being a flaw for me is that I wish there were far more hand drawn, animated cutscenes. Of course that's not even a real flaw with the game, it's just that those parts are so damn beautiful I get ...
I think people understand the reason as far as plot goes but it's the third prequel in an action game series that plays just the same as the previous games, meaning the only real difference to the formula is that the player character is a little less intense and not capable of feats quite as major as we've seen in previous games. That may be completely justified by the plot but its hardly a great advertisement.
If we got an Uncharted prequel set shortly after Nate bro...
Norse mythology would be a great fit for this kind of game but then I'd like to go the whole hog and play as Beowulf.
A whole hour? Boy does this site get the scoops.
I think all this generation's franchises should die with this generation. I don't necessarily think Uncharted has been milked as a franchise but I really don't want to see any more of the series. I want new, fresh ideas, characters and scenarios for the new fresh hardware.
This is getting a little silly now, people are starting to act like this was some orchestrated attack upon women. Having said that I do think it's incredibly douchey and it does irritate me. Mostly because it invokes the image of the snot nosed little middle American bratty teenager playing Call of duty and spouting black gangsta catchphrases in their high whiny voice to try and sound tough. Just please keep all of your Internet meme talk and Jersey shore catchphrases out of my games.
Ugh, I tried. I honestly tried but if there is one stereotype that video does not dispel its the stereotype of feminists being utterly humourless and desperate to bring any fun or enjoyment to a screeching halt.
The handsome knight rescuing the damsel in distress may not take into account every argument for gender equality and the plight of every individual encountering the ignorance of society at large but guess what, that's why they were the most popular type of story in t...
Thanks for the kick in the pants folks. I am gonna have to pick up Persona 4 ASAP. I honestly appreciate the advice, as much as my wallet hates you all.
Damn time goes too fast, those screenshots actually made me feel nostalgic. This game may have had some rough edges (as anything that dares to try something new will) but what a unique experience it was, from the beautiful bright shimmering city to the clean crystalline music. This game will stick in my memory as one of the truly standout experiences of this generation. In fact, I'm definitely digging out the disc tomorrow night.
I'd like you to explain to me, for whatever reason you might think, what the reason is why this story's title, in it's presentation, is lesser than in terms of decency than many other titles that may have come before it placed above different, though similar stories.
To me, as far as I can see, when I see this title, I tend to think as far as these things go it seems fine.
Cool, I wonder what tommorrow's Assassin's creed game will be called.
As unhappy as it makes me I accept that the PS4 will just be too different in terms of hardware to play PS3 games but I'll be damned if I'm gonna grow up too.
GTA is possibly the only franchise in which I think a female lead would be a huge mistake. There's just far too much of a male energy to the game. The whole idea of carjacking, rampaging and killing to gain the money, the power and the women, it's a strictly male thing. I'm not saying women can't enjoy playing the game or that women can't hold their own in a fight but usually they have to be fighting FOR something. GTA is not about fighting for a justifiable goal, however ...
