I find it a shame because from the impression the first trailer gave I thought this had the potential to be the most interesting of the next gen release games. I really like the art style and the concept of the main character but it really should have played more like Ratchet and clank and less like an extremely basic God of war without the swooping camera or epic environments.
I can understand that it's supposed to be a game for kids but when I was a little kid I was comple...
I always stick to my choices in RPGs, hardly ever play multiplayer because I've accepted that I suck (my goal when I do play is to not place last) but yeah, I still occasionally curse and reload when I fail stealth.
My biggest problem though, the one thing I cannot get over, I am a virtual hoarder. The chest by my bed in Skyrim is a sea of semi-interesting and individual items that I'll never use, that I have often dropped useful items to free up the room the carry them ...
This has to be a fan made joke. The graphics are so poor it could pass as an IOS spinoff and the entire pacing of that trailer was just ridiculous, walk, talk, squish, the end. I'm calling it, it's a mod video with audio probably taken from Aisha's podcast or something
I don't even feel right laughing at this guy the more I hear from him. He sounds like he has some genuine mental/emotional problems.
"In Wayward Manor, you take on a ghost and it is your job to scare off folks from the manor. It’s like 7th Guest meets Beetlejuice."
Or like Haunting meets itself. I hate to say it but I can't say I'm too excited by this. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Neil Gaiman in more ways than it's possible for a straight man to admit but this looks like another cute, quirky but disposable piece of work aimed more towards making sure your kids grow up with a healthy lo...
In my opinion the train level still beats any moment from any third person shooter ever released.
The camera looks much improved over the current PS Eye. With the ball hinge and heavy wire on the current PS Eye I'm constantly paranoid about it being pulled out of the position I set it up in when using the Move or whatever. This one looks much easier to angle and much more likely to stay in place.
Not a story based around sequels, a genre based around sequels. I will explain further but first you must apologise to these good people for inviting more of my tired ranting.
Uncharted was based on the old B movie serials, which were simple serialised short films, usually space operas or treasure hunting adventures. The same kind of thing Indiana Jones and Star Wars were based on. In fact, Star Wars begins at episode 4 with a long scroll of text explaining the story so far in o...
I definitely felt let down by the fact that we never got that Vita version. I was really looking forward to playing this on the Vita, it just felt like it'd fit better on there than on a home TV. I still might pick up ZOE2 for the PS3 at some point but I would've picked up the collection for the Vita day one.
I don't think you can blame people too much for expressing skepticism about a game based on a gameplay demo rather than thinking, 'On well the actual game will probably be nothing like this'. We're not talking about a few messy textures here or there or a few frame rate hiccups. We're talking about the way the game actually plays. Of course the game isn't finished yet and we should give it a chance to develop but I think it's a far more sensible reaction to look at...
I completely agree with this article. Uncharted was based around a genre that was all about sequels and various adventures so a few sequels were expected and welcome but The last of us was a much more personal, introspective game and not the kind of thing that demands multiple entries. I am a much bigger fan of the movie No country for old men than I am of the Star Wars movies but I would much rather see another Star Wars sequel (if it was actually well made) than I would like to see No count...
I hope it checks your regular heart rate first and relates it to that. If it judges relative to some kind of ideal heart rate it's gonna think most of us hardcore gamers are constantly terrified, even when playing LittlebigPlanet.
It's his own fault for playing the Mog house arcade game multiple times. I know it's cute and all but, prioritise, man.
I grew up watching the original Evil dead and wanted to ask what the big deal is, but being almost 30 years of age and having a broken light in my bathroom I've been holding in the pee since I looked at that image.
Y'know like, subs. Ships that go underwater but... in Arabic. Look, they can't all be winners. I'm very tired.
"Unless you are making parody that all SR4 is is a DLC to SR3"
There you go.
That title doesn't need the words 'add on'.
They should just stick to regular old pirate ships.
I felt just the opposite to be honest. I was excited by the interesting setting and atmosphere but once they pulled out the huge guns and it all went Michael Bay I lost a little interest.
I wish I could say I wouldn't buy it because I'm too pissed off about Half-life 3 but who am I kidding? I'd buy it in a rotten heartbeat, just like I'd buy another Portal. I just hope it's next gen, surely it would have to be, right? They wouldn't release a strongly multiplayer focused game on a system that was about to become last gen's model.
