then Killzone 3 will be another day 1 for me. Otherwise I might wait a bit. Thrills of being a Computer Science student!
you honestly believe all the AI on the screen is being processed? It works simple, just like Heavenly Sword which had 1000 AI Characters on screen at the same time (makes 60 look pathetic doesn't it?).
The one's which are deemed highest priority are processed, whilst the others are idle, and perform relatively the same actions as each other or as the high priority ones, depending on what the developer deems better. There's actually only a few AI Instances.
I know it's sad.
How the hell does an article like this get approved, there's so many things wrong with it that I can't even list them all, but here's a few:
1. It's a google sites website. Honestly, can I post my chatlog on here? I bet it'll get approved as well as long as it contains the words Xbox vs Playstation, or Halo, or any other sh*t like that.
2. It's flamebait! The writer of this article knowingly bashes other, big, videogames, and is clearl...
You don't split any images. 3D is created by the idea that depth is created by having two eyes. Normal movies are shot with single camera's, whilst 3D movies are shot by having 2 camera's at a certain distance from each other, creating depth into the image. It's purely logical and it doesn't create any pop up or fake effects.
Of course, these days when people think of 3D they think of stuff coming at them, but it's about the added depth to the image, a...
It's been so long, ended up on N4G after being banned from Gametrailers a million times?
Ah, I know you'll be worshipping these visuals when (and if) it's announced for Xbox 360, as you did for FFXIII :)
Looking at this reviewers other scores, I'd say he's generally harsh and it seems this is close to the highest score he's given to a game so far.
Spydiggity: It doesn't scream Bioshock, because if you look properly, you'll see that the core game is based on a completely different idea. Do some research.
Bioshock: A first person shooter about space monsters in an underwater base.
Singularity: A first person shooter about controlling time in any way you want.
The only similarity these games have besides artstyle is that they're first person shooters.
Consider that Art Direction can also be seen in CG trailers of the game. We know what the art direction is like, and you don't have to be a fanboy to appreciate it.
If that's ingame, than never mind Crysis 2. Mark me as impressed.
Frankly.. I don't think Twisted Metal has bad graphics. I think it has good graphics, even though it may not be as good as a high-profile game such as God of War 3 or Killzone 2. The thing is, Twisted Metal has a lower budget (due to sales projections being lower) and a lower amount of people working on it. Looking at the gameplay I'd say they're doing a pretty damn good job.
Why do people refer back to that all the time? It only means that it'll be on the market for 10 years, not that it won't have a successor in those 10 years <_< PS1 and PS2 had a 10 year lifecycle as well.
I want a Ps3, but I decided to wait till after E3 in case of a pricecut
LMAO loved it, one of the better ones :P Love the comparison to Stephen King and the part where he talks about how the camera zooms in on the monsters "Look look do you see them? Good because we dont want this game to get scary"
God of War 3 was at least as big as Mass Effect 2.. And Mass Effect 2 was a 'Microsoft' exclusive, if you accept that term...
but in the end I don't think it matters, exclusive or multiplatform. The only difference that'll be there is the visual side of the game. Gameplay wise being exclusive or multiplatform doesn't mean anything, in that sense I agree with you.
Bungie goes multiplat and insomniac goes multiplat, so in the end both Microsoft and Sony do win.
Anyone seeing a pattern here? All major exclusives of Sony are getting announced and trailers just weeks before E3, something major's going down at E3 this year :o.
It's amazing how many people read no further then the title, and go on to comment on how it's a move title based on their own speculation.
The article actually reveals an *amazing* collection of board games. EXCLUSIVE to Ps3. Can't Wait! This will boost the Ps3 RIGHT past the xbox 360 and Wii. :P
Considering the amount of money it costs to create a game, piracy and the number of sales a videogame at 60 dollars needs to only repay the budget, you can see that that's a perfectly reasonable price. Of all the games that are created, how many sell over a million? How many games that don't have a budget high enough to need a million sales?
exactly.
I think that's a guarantee not to get racist claims tbh. Apparently killing white people in a game is fine, just killing black people in a game is racist. (I don't mind either)
