This and this...
I think the definitive console versions will be on XBX9 and PS13 then...
Missed the point completely.
Does it matter?!
Would you not buy U::LL or ROTTR if they were a lower checkerboard upscale?
Or would you look at either, think they look good, in a genre of game you enjoy and buy regardless?
Yep...good to be an industry expert, get paid masses to regurgitate other people's views. Everything he says has been touted by other people here, months, almost years before... ...
@ninsigma
Correct. I can see it's better than an older console, I can judge whether it looks good and plays well. I can't change the code I have for a game to be the Xbox or PC version anyway, so yes, I don't give a sht as long as I enjoy it.
I have a 7.1 surround sound system - but don't sit and listen for an out of place tingle on one version or the other.
All blinded by the need to know tech. I've played GTAV at length on both original Ps4 and...
Really? So did I...marginally more...but really couldn't give a sht as long as I enjoy it.
Appreciate that it's your choice to know if you so desire. In my view, only reason to count pixels and refresh rates are to flamebait the console wars. Gone are the days when people would unwrap a game for their hardware and decide for themselves whether it's a brilliant game. Sad times.
Does it matter?
It's a game to play - not analyse...
@Inzo
It is 10-13 hours but that isn't a full Uncharted experience. It's an extensive storyline to supplement the other games. May not sell Uncharted 4 quantities, won't make as much money (substantially cheaper too) but it will sell just fine. The choice of characters was controversial to say the least. But most (maybe not all) people liking Nathan will get on and play.
I want to play it - but not bothered YouTubing it so I get the full story at time of playing....
False advertising.
Wouldn't have X360, X1/X, PS3 or PS4/Pro without it.
They've all screwed up. And most of the time it's neither MS or Sony that are responsible.
Fan boys fan flames and throw stones in glass houses. Sensible people just play the games as they arrive on each platform.
Just like ANY other business. Supply and demand. If they think enough people want it, they'd do it. To make money. And people can decide with their wallets. Rather have the option than not.
MS, Ninty - and all other publishers will do the same...
Crp. There may be a handful but the majority couldn't give a sht. Fact is, there's a glut of software heading to PS4. The same majority aren't sad enough to sit and compare two consoles running the same software. The websites do it to incite rivalry and most people shrug their shoulders and play their games.
Everyone knows that multiplats will invariably be superior on XBX, as opposed to the last 3 years. But most people will live with what they have because they are comf...
But regardless, they still had to be developed.
It's a crap statement!
Actually, it only took a day to build the PC version. We had the assets for the XBX.
Only in US?
Not in Europe.
Used to play this ages ago with friends on PC until it became impossible. Suspect it's not how I remember it now, but would've had a quick trial to see...
Funny...in both console camps, we have people saying that you can't judge a game by a 10 minute demo (for C3 and Days Gone). Not bothered to look and see whether there are hypocrites among the arguments and counters..!
I agree. A demo can place an expectation into your head, but only in the same way a film trailer does. And the **** films only show the good bits in a trailer anyway! I know what I'd select first out of C3 and DG. But it may be wrong yet.
All beware - ...
Just watched "Train to Busan" and kinda in the mood for this..!
Thanks Frosty.
Detailed description from your perspective. Appreciate the warnings.
Their current gen Infamous release would've re-used assets from last gen Infamous nevertheless. If it's a new IP there's every chance that it's requiring a larger proportion of new assets (movement/ physics/ interaction/ intelligence). TBH, I don't find it odd...
Nope - I agree. One can but hope that the orders there IF more stock comes through.
Not counting chickens - and certainly not building myself up for it to drop (and break!) on the door step come September.
Just in case anyone else fancied a punt!
And no Pilotwings? :(
All of it is bullshot.
And it depends on what you look for.
Play all of the ones you can own and get the best for you.
GT has probably worked on a lot of online code to support it's FIA deal, we know that the weather is predetermined in Forza and that PC1 was a bit of a mess on release.
They look quite fine in these but it's not a fair comparison due to tracks, weather and TOD.
Forza should look the best but that ain'...
