Incoming wall of text: If only the game had been like that from the start. I've been watching some streams of people playing it in the PTS and it looks great. It's just a shame that the devs didn't go down this route with the main game and shaped the story around it. The core game became so bloated, with unnecessary things like signature skills and superfluous gear sets.
I remember playing the Alpha and suggesting that the game should focus a lot more on the sur...

It's the reason why I had a PS4 as well as a PC. I tried multiplayer on PC but often ran into hackers in various games. Like I said in a comment above, not all hackers are so blatant either.
Then you've been ridiculously lucky. Often people are hacking and you won't even realise. They dial in their hacks just enough to give them an advantage without seeming overpowered. Not all of them are as blatant as this person.

It wasn't that bad tbh. I visit it from time to time to see if there have been any major updates. The posts were a mix of people feeling despondent, people posting screenshots of things they'd found, and people posting ideas for improvement. If anything it was a sort of support group for the people who still played the game.
The Move Navigation Controller (not the motion one) is brilliant for PC gaming when paired with a moba mouse. That's the set up I use as I can't stand gaming with keyboard.
Cosmetics are just as bad, if not the worst. They're where it all started. The root of pure evil.
