Is this a joke? I'm not going to read the article as it seems like click-bait.
My girlfriend suffers with psychosis, thankfully she has it under control at the moment with meds. I showed her the game and she thought it was a wonderful concept. She was intrigued to see how they portrayed the symptoms, and was pleased to see the condition being treated respectfully and creatively. Plus she loves Viking lore, so it was the perfect vessel for her.
I just thought I'd share an alternative view of the game from someone who suffers from the condition.
Amazon.com only, despite the fact Gamescom is a European event. Makes sense /s
Same. It was one of a few games that destroyed my love of multiplayer shooter games. Modern Warfare 2 was the start of the decline, followed by Black Ops 1 (which completely killed my interest in COD). Then games likes Battlefield 4, The Division, Halo 4, EA Battlefront and Destiny finished it off.
Of all of them, Destiny was the most soul crushingly disappointing. Up until that game my real life friends and I had all gamed together regularly, but Destiny crushed all of our...
The current player count is woeful, so in terms of multiplayer, there's no point picking it up if you haven't already. A new player will just get spanked by veterans and/or clans as there aren't enough people playing for the matchmaking to work adequately.
EA majorly screwed the pooch with this game, and I feel really sorry for Respawn. The game deserved a lot more attention as it's one of the best shooters around.
Sequel? It's not even out of Early Access lol. Maybe it will be in 10 years time ;)
Stream sniping can't be proven? When a player kills a streamer, then pops up immediately in the next round and makes a beeline straight for them, it's pretty obvious. You can spot them a mile away.
How anyone can disagree with you is baffling
Incoming people saying 'I've never experienced lag in Destiny PvP'. Destiny 1's multiplayer was a laggy mess. Destiny 2 won't be any different. I wouldn't be surprised if the final version hides ping/connection bars to try and conceal poor connections.
No dedicated servers is unforgivable, especially on PC. It undermines everything else.
'The Marine on the original DOOM box art was based on none other than the game’s co-creator John Romero.'
Saved you a click.
Don't bother, it's a poor remake
It's an expansion, not the whole game. If you don't like that aspect, then you're not forced to play it.
Your*
smh
Really? Is this the sort of shit that gets featured on this site? Smh.
How about the importance of dedicated servers? I'd place that at the top of the list, especially when transitioning over to PC.
No new footage, move along, nothing to see here.
I still use my DS3 for all my PC gaming. I prefer it to the DS4. It's particularly good for Rocket League and Battlefield 1
Dedicated servers or forget it. I don't play any multiplayer game that doesn't have them. P2P connections are archaic and totally unacceptable in this era of gaming. If Rocket League can have dedicated servers, then there's no excuse for any other game.
Destiny multiplayer was a laggy mess most of the time, which quickly killed off any interest myself and my friends had in the game. That, combined with constant connection drop outs in the middle of raids, monot...
Battlefield 1 PC has aim assist for controllers... no one says a thing. I'm told Titanfall does too. I use a controller on PC as I have physical problems, and I'm so thankful to any developer who takes the time to implement it.
In Destiny 2 I can hold my own, but skilled mouse and keyboard players will always outplay me. But I find that totally acceptable.
There's a huge amount of misinformation being spread about the aim assist. I've se...
