I thought it was extremely underwhelming. Oh and they need to reduce the size of the hit points by a considerable amount.
They don't want to support shitty business practices.
Who is allowing these scummy kill ping 'articles' to feature on the main page? They're adverts disguised as articles.
They need a new, or massively revamped, engine. Activision aren't willing to pony up the cash. I've said many times before, the COD franchise could be leaps and bounds above where it currently is. It's being anchored by corporate greed.
Don't be ridiculous. Neither of those games created the genre. People have been crying out for a AAA BR game. COD is the first to take a swing. They can't really do worse than the appalling PUBG. Fortnite is popular with a lot of younger games, but they're fickle, and will flock to whatever is hyped by streamers and YouTubers.
Vietnam wouldn't fit with their sprawling, multiple-front narrative. There's not enough scope for a modern day BF game.
I was honestly hoping they would drop the campaign and pour those resources into the multiplayer. The last four Battlefield campaigns have ranged from terrible to painfully mediocre, and have felt like a waste of time, effort and money. The same can be said about COD, except I hold the Battlefield franchise in much higher regard.
Fresh? It doesn't even have a new lick of paint on it. It's the same (tired) engine, with the same muddy textures; boring, static maps and complete lack of meaningful innovation. As for balanced, are you seriously judging the balance of the game based off of some short videos? What a joke of a website Cog must be.

The game is appalling
So far... it looks janky. Nice idea, but it needs to be super smooth with amazing netcode to make up for the graphic style.
What a lazy article. At least provide a video of each map.
Seems totally fair and unbiased /s
Nope. The game is fundamentally bad. The loot crates were just the tipping point.
No.
Unfortunately it's like putting a band aid on a mortal wound. The game has much more severe issues that this update won't come close to addressing.
For many, grouping up with randoms is like walking into an insane asylum. It's not always a viable option.
This is what Activision should have done with Call of Duty a long time ago. Instead of milking the cash cow for all it's worth.
