What is wrong with you?

Every mass produced product has a failure rate. This one so far has a low failure rate just like its predecessors. Boo hoo.

My Wii's disc drive didn't work and we camped out to get it. We sent it in and they couldn't replace it or fix it and send it back for whatever reason so we got a refund from the store. We waited two months calling occasionally about restocking and the few times we were told they had them we came by a...

@ Everyone talking about Microsoft's revenue.. The XBox division is not profiting, at least it hasn't profited in years. So, stop posting Microsoft's company revenue and look at what the XBox division is doing.

Misleading N4G article announcing nothing new and continues to copy and paste everything you'd find in the comment section of any game site.

This is seriously frustrating that this makes it through. This is NOT news. News needs to be new and needs justification. Whoever keeps approving these articles are the same kind of people that write these amateur articles that copy and paste other peoples ideas and try to write just like other journalists.

@Talidan

That's because that is how he is and the producers know what they are doing. It's not like they put bad guests on there and make him act excited. He has awesome guests.

@inveni0

"I love games!" doesn't mean he is a gamer, as in he plays games often. He's mostly into older titles because he grew up with them. He is successful and married with a child and his hobbies are music and impersonating, commonly toge...

I have a feeling it's something new that is big in scale like ES and Fallout, just because they've released a lot for those games already and probably want another colossal money maker like those two.

CPU's transfer data through threads, but when a CPU and GPU access RAM they go through a bus. Most bus' nowadays are 128-bit, but the PS4 is 256-bit, twice the amount of data can be transferred at the same time. There is plenty of access to RAM, and both can access this RAM simultaneously.

Indeed, they pay far too much on celebrity endorsements and other stunts, which makes you wonder how much of the $1 billion they say they spent on games was actually on the games themselves when you take into account that they spent $500 million just to advertise the first Kinect.

So, this is a commercial for the Kinect-less SKU, oh but lets throw in tons of Kinect-only demonstrations..

Even when they are selling a Kinect-less model... They are trying to sell Kinect..

Microsoft needs to stop with their celebrity endorsement stunts.

Jerry Seinfeld, Dwayne Johnson, Jessica Alba, Will Arnett, Jay-Z, Gwen Stefani, and more people that have nothing to do with the products they pay them to endorse. How much money do they spend on advertisements to raise the spending of their game departments to tell people they are putting a lot of money into games? They spent $500 million to advertise the first Kinect. I'm not insulting what games or consol...

Balanced multi-threading? That's one of the benefits of DX12 on PC. It will be improved for X1 of course but it isn't new, so it's not actually a big performance gain. This already exists on consoles. Sony is working on improving their multi-threading on PS3 as well as PS4. I'm not bragging about Sony. I just think you should know that it isn't a Microsoft thing. Seriously, stop finding terms and blindly trying to justify something with terms yo...

How can this article be news? It's just him making up fictitious quotes for video game developers because he thinks it's funny poke fun at all the video game delays recently. It doesn't tell us anything we don't know or anything relevant. This isn't news at all. It's just a parody of recent events that is fit for blogging. Last time I checked you aren't supposed to submit blogs as news articles.

DX12 isn't a technique. It's an API. Just like OpenGL. But, OpenGL is less bloated, supports Window's, Mac, and Linux, as well as whatever products are designed to run it, like PS4. DX12 is doing what OpenGL already allowed us to do, but because DX is a leading standard for PC it is holding back OpenGL because not many developers take advantage of it.

Btw, X1 already has a low level API, a modified DX, that already delivers exactly what...

I thought they had already done this when they removed the mandatory Kinect connection.

Why would they dedicate any GPU functions to the Kinect anyways? UI voice commands sure, but those don't need 10% of a GPU, the developers should have had control over Kinect resource allocation in the first place.

I'm tired of these articles. Not just because of the content, but because they talk almost all about X1 and just because they mention PS4 and vice versa they label it as being about both consoles just to spam a flamebait-esque article on both categories for more hits.

I don't go to the PS4 section to see X1 articles that add a comment about PS4, for the pathetic reason to consider it a PS4-related article for easy hits. People make money off of seriously ignorant art...

What gameplay from Quantum Break? The 10 seconds we've seen in their developer video talking about the purpose of the game? Where it shows a cover system similar to The Order 1866, and overdone flare effects on pistols while shooting? Or, generic you have time powers that make no sense at all in quantum mechanics that gives you a movement speed boost?

@TheGrimReaper0011

LoL is so poorly optimized. Custom clients made it run at least twice as fast but Riot shut them down.

The client is so bloated in coding and doesn't need to run so heavy in the background when you're in game.

Definitely agreed.

I don't know why some people on this article are making up examples and comparing a 30fps game to a different 60fps game. If it's any game at all I'd rather have a 60fps version than a 30fps version. Nothing to do with what graphics you might miss out on in order to raise the frame rate. I would just easily prefer higher framerate if possible. My laptop runs League of Legends at 60fps but when the game gets going and people have all of their abi...

There are a lot of people trashing it for having no co op or multiplayer. But, single player requires more work and for a full priced game like Titanfall with poor visuals, low player count, generic gameplay, and no single player whatsoever it had hardly anything put into the game.

It's kind of different when the code was horribly unoptimized to begin with.

The maximum amount of games is if you game on every platform. Not just PC. I currently only have a PC and a 3DS, and my brother has a Wii U that we occasionally play. I want a PS4 so bad though.
