"I am pretty skeptical it will happen. It was straightforward to update [Metroid Prime 1] and [Metroid Prime 2] to motion controls, but converting [Metroid Prime 3] to normal controls would be a herculean effort, as it is scripted very specifically using volumetric triggers to detect the motion in precise manners to do specific switches, and the bosses are tuned to take into account the ease of gestural aiming."
^Quote from one of the developers of Prime 3.
Pretty sure the second one will come if this one sells. The third one is tricky because the controls would have to be extensively reworked.
They already updated the sales in May 2022 and it was at 2.9 million. Even if it didn’t sell a single copy from then until now it’s should be on the million sellers list.
Pretty sure Metroid Dread has hit 3 million. Not sure why that’s being ignored.
The same thing happened with the Epic v Apple lawsuit. A bunch of subpoenas put everybody’s business in the street.
I would imagine it would be a separate series designed for the lower spec Switch instead of mainline COD. Kind of like the "Resident Evil: Revelations" of COD.
It's slowing down because the 1st party game releases are slowing down.
Corporate speak. It will be on PlayStation until the deal closes and contracts are fulfilled, unless PlayStation allows gamepass on their system. Unlikely.
I really enjoyed this game. Was definitely a hidden gem. Glad more people will get to play it.
You can use the dualsense on the Series X with an adapter. Titan Two and Cronus Zen both work. Microsoft also makes the adaptive controller specifically designed for disabled gamers.
The risk is greatly reduced in the newer OLEDs. It’s not really a problem unless you watch cable news on it for like a month straight.
Last month was better. The only game I’m interested in is Moving Out.
yes
One of the few games I backed on Kickstarter that was worth it. I'm glad they continue to support the game and I'm really looking forward to the sequel.
We know they're doing Indiana jones and Wolfenstein 3. I'd be surprised if they have three major releases in the pipe.
Yeah it's an amazing package for the price. I got it via gamepass but I'll probably pick it up on Switch as well.
They will ship the game but you have to go to the store to get the steelbook. Annoying.
I really enjoyed this game. I hope there's some story DLC. Also I hope they rebalance the pocket mech because it doesn't do enough damage to be useful.
This is definitely needed. The original is great but the textures are very muddy.
VC is better imo. I got games like Super Metroid for like 30 cents. If NSO allowed you to play online with anybody then I would give it the edge.
