I am interested. I've never played a Deus Ex game before. I'll wait and see how it turns out. If this version is significantly better than the other versions then I'll get it on the Wii U. Otherwise I'll get it on PS3 or Steam.
I enjoyed Dead Island on PS3. I never bought it though. I'd consider buying Riptide new on my Wii U if they optimized it like Criterion did with Need for Speed (I bought that). Otherwise I'll buy it on my PS3, but probably discounted or used.
Yeah, Mario 64 and Majora's Mask HD is news to me. Do you know something we don't?
I agree that the eshop on Wii U and 3DS have made vast improvements. Seems like Nintendo is getting rid of their draconian policies and it's paying dividends. Right now the 3DS eshop is my second favorite online game delivery service behind only Steam.
I was able to talk amazon into price matching after I found out about this. It took about 40 minutes, but it was worth it.
Makes me feel good about my NFS preorder. I don't have a 360 but I will be stopping by my friend's house to play Gears. Also glad Muramasa did well. I enjoyed it on Wii.
I think it's fine. The "Rebirth" series are a love letter to Nintendo. Gradius Rebirth, Castlevania Rebirth, and Contra Rebirth were all released for the Wii because none of those franchises would exist without the NES. This was a one time thing. And they're all very short games. It's not like you're missing out on a full game.
I bought it on my Wii and transferred it over to my Wii U. It's a good Castlevania game, pretty short though, and a little too old school (no diagonal whipping). If you're choosing between this and Super Castlevania then get Super Castlevania. Cheaper and much better.
Give it back to Retro to do another Prime game. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
And I wanted Rayman Legends at launch. Guess we're both disappointed.
It's not a deal breaker, but it's pretty huge. I held on to my 60 gig PS3 after it crapped out on me multiple times just because it had full backwards compatibility. I eventually caved and got the much more reliable slim, but I wish I didn't have to do that. I love the fact that my Wii U has it, even though I still keep my Wii around for gamecube games (only way to play F-Zero GX). I will probably buy a PS4, but I hate the fact that I'll have to have two Sony systems under...
It's Zelda in HD. I'm buying it. A bunch of other people will buy it. Nintendo will make money. The world keeps on spinning.
The plan is to pay $60 for the version of the game I can't play on other consoles. Otherwise I'd just get the bare bones PC or PS3 version seeing as I like owning multiple consoles.
Working with brand new dev kits I doubt it was "blammo." In fact the devs stated that they couldn't get the game out at launch because they were unfamiliar with the architecture. And of course the PC textures aren't the only good thing about this version. I'm sure that full gamepad integration, full Miiverse integration, father son mode, off TV play, and support for every control option imaginable was just easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy. Maybe EA should just give the game ...
They're already selling it at a loss. Maybe later in the year manufacturing costs will go down and they can do a price cut.
I'm fine with it. They put a lot of work in optimizing the game for the Wii U, and I don't own any other versions. If this was just a quick and dirty port I wouldn't pay full price.
Two of my favorites from the SNES didn't make the cut:
1. "Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy" from Yoshi's Island. Great level that probably led to my "experimental phase."
2. "A Night at the Opera" from Final Fantasy VI. Pure genius. Such a great moment in RPG history.

Oh, ok. That makes more sense. It wasn't a million seller like the previous one, but 650k isn't terrible. I don't know why Nintendo doesn't release another.
Um. Zombi U is selling very well. It's almost at 400K worldwide. Wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a million seller by the end of 2013. Ubisoft is pleased with sales and they are thinking sequel. Try again.
