No, it's not, Epic is riding Apple's d*** because they want to license the f*** out of their Engines and put them everywhere, they don't care if the games on I-devices are s*** or not, as long as they can make money from the UE, bleeding edge tech on new consoles will make more devs go out of business, raise prices and less variety of games, it's not working, PS1 and PS2 werent successful for being the most powerful consoles, same with the wii
You people should be thankful that a game like HR even came out, in this day an age, if it's not a FPS or a $0.99 game, it's doomed and there is nothing to do...
One thing is sure, Ipad3 will have more sales and more games than Vita :P

You took the Cell of out the pic, but it doesn't work like that, PS3 games will not be easily emulated thanks to how different is the Cell architecture, that's why rumors saying Sony is ditching cell for the PS4 pretty much assure no BC in the PS4

Don't get it, didn't read though, afaik a new pokemon will lead to s***loads of 3DS sales...
It's because of the nature of the CPU, the chips used in consoles are closed or something like that while PCs no way, that's why the comparison and they don't have any problem with the console being a multimedia device, in fact that's one of the selling points :P
