As the game, it's a shooter, you'd have to expect so much for that to happen :P
As the "experiment" don't have any idea, doesn't seem to brake any sales record or anything, but that can be because of the game itself, so we need to see more of these things happening to judge it well, the idea sounds good though :D

Next you'll ask to manufacturers and devs/pubs to pay you for playing their games XP you can't be serious, none of the things you asked will be locked to trophies, the system wasn't made for that, it just a way to recognise your gaming skills and works as a log of played games and lvl/stages cleared, they don't have any real value...
For only Nine Hundred and Ninety Nine US Dollars and you'll need 3 jobs to pay it this time lol
Seriusly, better go moderate and affordable than go nuts to only lose marketplace, PS2 wasn't a powerhouse and still is the best console out there with the biggest library of games and the best thing, the variety of genres is top notch, unlike this gen filled with kids crappy games or dudebros mindless shooters XP
Wii-u = Console with tablet controller included in every box
Vita = handheld system not tied to any home console, compatibility with PS3/PS3 can be done, but it's not included in the PS3 box and it'll not be included with the PS4 as well, so there is no point for devs to try to achieve the same stuff they can do with the Wii-U

News for you, tablets is OK, but Apple has the hearts and minds of the casuals right now, this will just make the general public compare Wii-U with I-devices and by that pretty much pointing out that tablet is not as innovative as the wii-mote and motion-controls

I was a naysayer, I don't feel mad at all, I was wrong, big deal, but I bet you if it wasn't for MS spending loads of millions in advertising, kinect would not be as big as it's now...

I know, if s*** goes like that, say goodbye to PSP games and more, but hey, pirates will be able to get those 20 GAMES for free, when all devs run away of Vita development just to avoid another PSP case :/
I don't care about used and all that, this gen never bought used, what's bothers me is the part of the rumor saying you have to be connected online all the f***ing time to play any game, I simply can't do it, my main ISP is working like s*** for over a year and the mobile-broadband dongle is s*** for gaming online, I imagine playing a game and that pos desconnecting, so games stops working, save goes to s*** and need to start all over again, I'll simply bail out by frustration...
