It better be a launch title, I can't imagine what PD will do with more powerful HW, GT5 has evolved into such an awesome game over the updates, it's not perfect, but I'm sure if it wasn't for the HW restrictions, it really could be

MS is not losing is Europe, MS and Sony are close in sales + more X360s are sold in UK than PS3s, so it's not a big difference
Japan is where MS performes really bad, but home console is dying there, so there is no much to lose anyway, with the inclusion of mobile devices like smartphones and tablets, home console sales are going to be worst, unless you're Nintendo :P
The problem are the gamers that need to compare games to movies, it's like if you can't live without the approval of others, so what if gaming is not a form of art and can't make you feel something? who cares what other say when you enjoy gaming

Hmmm... not dizzing on the xbros here now that Harrison is going to work for MS, but the dude wanted to pull out a wii-station, probably made "business sense" or something, but screw that, the core is what drive the the industry, no the casuals that follow the hot thing of the season,
Epic is smarter though, they capitalize on selling UE3 mod-version to developers of I-devices, so they can take money from the licenses fees, EA in the other hand would lose much more IF the future of gaming is about selling games @ 0.99/4.99 :/

Porting? a platform easy to develop for makes things easier for devs, so there should be no problem, it also depends on what's about the rumored kinect2
But, the reason of why no Xbox3 this is year is because the X360 is selling so damn well, so they can ride on that at least one year and then release a new console without problems

This rumor is as lame as anyone has ever been, why MS will cut potential BC in their new console by no adding a freaking drive? also, don't forget that any game-store will avoid selling the thing, because without physical copies > no used games > no profit from used games sales and all that...
