I think this is a valid comparison. While I may not agree that the gameplay in Gears 2 trumps that of Uncharted (two different genres each with their strengths and weaknesses, but Gears 2 does have fun online multiplayer modes which definitely give it an edge), it is relevant to compare the graphics.

I've already purchased a couple of PSN games ... Pixeljunk Eden and Pixeljunk Monsters come to mind ... but this is a must-buy for me. It's loads of fun, and the large amounts of bloody violence provide for over-the-top gameplay too. This is like a mashup of all your favorite genres, and it's going to be a blast.

Microsoft is terrified of Killzone 2, because they know they have nothing available or coming in 2009 that can come close to topping it. Sure, Halo and Gears are good games in their own right, but Killzone 2 is simply on a higher level.

Was there ever any doubt about that? Microsoft may be involved in testing the viability of such a virtual world for business, but you can be sure they'll quickly "adopt" the idea for themselves and create a standalone version for the PC and their next iteration of the Xbox.
There was that one time that Microsoft's new marketing campaign against Mac actually employed images created on a Mac. There was media coverage of this slip-up, which prompted a MS statement and response by removing the picture that was originally created on a Mac and replacing it with one created on a PC with roughly 3 times the filesize.
The Xbox360 is a 2005 console in 2008 ... using a storage medium from 1998 ... which Sony propelled to the foreground in the first place!

The Dark Knight in Blu-ray was CRAZY! I was thinking of buying it, but decided to save my money and instead put it towards another PS3 game, since I already saw TDK 4 times in theaters, 3 of them being in IMAX.
But I did rent it in Blu-ray from Blockbuster to watch it with my parents, and let me tell you, it is amazing. I love having that crisp, clear definition on my TV. This movie deserved to sell well, and we haven't seen the last of Blu-ray sales for The Dark Knight!
