Wow alot of strong opinions on this games score from people who haven't even played it... If this was ryse or knack you'd see people flipping out about it lol. It sounds like they added a lot to this game, but I understand some people r just burned out with cod... But nobodies burned out on the sports games that r rehashed every year?

Where's all the people saying it should just be about the experience or the fun... Cod is fun man. Most people like it how it is.. i agree with this article, if this were a competition between graphics cards, NVIDIA or AMD wouldn't be getting any kind of pass... if the specs dont match, the advice would be to avoid the hardware, barring a price drop... that should be the advice for the xbone.

IMO thats how it probably breaks down, and thats whey the xbone is weaker than the ps4... because its actually cheaper, with a $200 camera thrown in because why not?

i was terrified the original xbones plan would come to fruition and we would all be worse off for it... they changed because we told them to with pre-orders, thank god there another choice! if not, they wouldn't have changed ANYTHING about the xbone and if your internet went out, you could still play your 360! sonys not perfect, but i'd much rather give them supp...
yea but specs do start to matter a little when %95 of the games are multi plat... the games ill play the most this next gen will probably all be 3rd party, so getting the best version of these games is kinda important.
i gotta admit, it got a little frustrating when game informer would give the edge to the 360 version EVERY time... now the shoes on the other foot i guess LOL! i'm just not convinced on spending $200 on kinect 2.0 (with a $300 gaming system)
alright lets look at the similarities. both the xbone and ps3 were/are more expensive. but the difference is why, blu-ray vs kinect 2.0.
blu-ray was marketed as the future for high def video, and for the most part thats panned out. dvds are on their way out (slowly lol) and if you want a disc based 1080 video format, blu-ray is the only choice. ps2 supported dvd, and was the first dvd player most people had... now here comes sony with a new format, and people had a reason...
i agree with the article from a while back that likened COD more to madden or fifa than other FPSs... ALOT more people would be mad if they radically changed it than if they kept it the same...

as far as the story in these kinda games (cod, but also battlefeild, killzone, medal of honor, etc...) i think people need to realize that war games usually all have the same characters in them, one way or the other... old vet, new guy, smart guy, wimpy guy, redneck guy, its the same stuff in war movies too. then one guy will die, and it will make all the others reflect on stuff. you'll earn the respect of the guy who didn't like you in the first mission. the old vet will die or ret...
