trying to get a controller to work equally well for CoD, DMC, street fighter, and starcraft might be too big a challenge even for valve... it looks promising, but imo it also looks like it will suck SOOOOOO hard. we'll see... im open to new ideas, but this one looks like it might be crap LOL

umm if you're talking about online player counts for EXCLUSIVE games, then yeah, but as for all games on 360/ps3, Cod would still be the staple shooter for 360... which would have the same size player counts as the ps3's most popular shooter... cod. also, im not sure most players on both ecosystems understand how ANY team works, just join a pick-up game, most people just run around like idiots, no teamwork whatsoever.

alright, the problem with the AI is the old bait and switch technique, not anything else...
lets say you saw gameplay of the new CoD, and it showed online battles with OBVIOUS player-counts in the 64-128 range, and the whole Eminem filled preview video was these MASSIVE battles... then in a low-key article not nearly as viral as the preview video, Infinity Ward said "its still 16 players, but theres 48 AI characters on screen" ...and "we never SAID there'...
