It hit MS that Xbox/Scorpio doesnt have to put them on top.
Microsoft just has to sell enough hardware, but they are really hopin that people buy a TON OF SOFTWARE. Hoping that people stay on Live (rather it be on Xbox, PC, Tablet, or Phone)
The more a person stays in a ecosystem , the more they tend to buy from that ecosystem. I dont see a heavy Playstation gamer buying anything Xbox anytime soon and vice versa.

but they also stated if not for "Microsoft's help" Rise of the Tomb Raider WOULD NOT be the game that it is now.
why would you want a company to release a game that could have possibly been inferior to Tomb Raider Reboot? that's what makes no sense to me.

when microsoft throws money at these types of deals, they tend to overpay. and this allows for other games (or a sequel to the game that's coming) to be made.

We understand that non-xbox owners were a pinch upset about RotTR being exclusive to xbox (console wise) for a year. but microsoft's money helped us make the game we wanted to make. because of microsoft's check book, other platforms are going to get an amazing game.
trust us (crystal dynamics/square enix) when we say this was worth the risk...
i know sony is trying to avoid mandates with the 4Pro, but i hope they do make it mandatory for developers to implement steady framerates ...
i wish it were possible for all single player game modes on the 4Pro to run at 60fps locked

if sony is sticking with a 3yr cycle, i guess this makes sense.
