I feel that games are meant for entertainment and focusing on an individual title is rather dumb. Who cares if you cant play Blue Dragon on ps3 or final fantasy on xbox 360, the point is there are other games that have the same game style. Is 20 GB actually a significany jump to justify a new SKU, I have a feeling they are going to add something else, what they need is a ps3 core like what they did with the psp. I had 2 cracked disc but none were scratched (I have a console made oct 2005 btw), the console works fine though. I remember reading that the newer drives all have rubber padding to prevent scratching so if you are so determined to see the rings of light flip when you move from horizontal to vertical then do so but please take the disc out first ;). I agree that the 8 way depad makes it more difficult to play games that were designed for 4 way depads but hey it does have it advantages in Oblivion.

I dont get what the problem is, what they are saying is that when you buy a new PC in 2008 the only windows OS you can get is Vista, isnt that the obvious choice if you are going the windows route. Vista and Xbox 360 are complimentary to each other....I know I have both. Use the xbox 360 to stream everything off the computer...its easy and all you need to set up is the 8 digital code the xbox 360 spits out when you first start media center on the xbox 360. Videos comsume the biggest portion of the xbox 360 harddrive, which isnt an issue if you save it to your PC and stream it.

I have Vista Premium and the only issue I have is that Im running 1GB which is alright but loading up a game and you can see studders, 2 GB will be fine but im using ready boast to add 512MB of RAM. I had it for 2 weeks so far and no crashes and it runs very smooth.
I felt the graphics were really nice, you can tell the difference when they flash between Halo 2 footage and the alpha footage. I didnt notice the shotgun bug, but it was alpha footage so that should be expected, alpha is the first attempt at putting the game together.
The releable system, well I've read a bunch on launch consoles breaking, mine hasnt but i'll give that to the ps3 but "If you a raving media nut and movie madman" Well the xbox 360 has DVD, HD-DVD, Xbox live video store and add to that full streaming from a PC, with sony not having the last 2. SO i'll give sony the reliability but the newer x360 are rock solid, I know 2 people that have one and no issues there, mine is a lauch console and thats even running good.
