If I was Australian.........I would not be a gamer. The pricing over there for video games is absolutely crazy.
Do you guys realize that a 4850 has a 1000 GFLOPS performance? That's almost 5x the GFLOPS performance of the 360's and PS3's GPU. It may be 2008 but it's still a very strong GPU in comparison to last gen.
Will the 720 and PS4 GPU's be stronger? Sure, but really could you complain with a x5 performance increase from the PS3?

Most people I've seen have been speculating at a E6760, which makes sense. It's AMD's first embedded GPGPU that launched last year, and it's performance is essentially a 4850, for those interested.

Sony shaved off the OS RAM usage in the PSP to open up more RAM for developers. Microsoft did the same with the 360. As time goes by the companies OPTIMIZE the OS so it leaves a smaller "footprint."
Also, this RAM is most likely GDDR5 RAM, and not DDR3 RAM like in the 360 or PS3, so it's using much more efficient RAM.

There's 2 Wii U models.
The base model only has 8 GB, the premium model comes with 32 GB (flash memory)
2 GB total, 1 for games 1 for OS.
If they're reserving 1 GIG for just the OS than it must be a multi-tasking beast.
Kinda disappointed that only 1 Gig is available for games, but with updates they can shave off the OS memory usage like Sony and Microsoft have done with their consoles, so more RAM should be available for games later on.

I'm on-board to buy a Vita once it price drops to $199 and they include a memory card or at least price-cut those too.
There's some games on there I wanna play (Wipeout, Gravity Rush, ACIII, Tearaway), but I just can't bring myself to pay over $300 for a handheld.
Best thing Nintendo could possibly do really. 3 different bundles would be ideal.
