Uhhhh doubtful, more it probably has to do with sony seeing what a bad idea it is to launch systems with vastly more powerful systems because they cost too much to consumers. This is a lesson likely learned from both ps3 and vita. They have likely been developing this well before Nintendo even announced wii U so i'm willing to guess wiiu is just ahead of the curve here as far as the power we should expect in the upcoming gen.
Yes, it's an unanimous yes. Anything over 12 hours of gameplay is going above and beyond these days. For AC 40 hours is well worth the 60 bucks.

Too early to say, especially seeing as sony and xbox have siad nothing about their upcoming consoles. We don't even know for sure there will be a PS4, microsoft delayed their console. Plainly a console conceived in this era is going to be more powerful than even ps3. Weather people like it or not. this is pretty damn next gen.

actually, I agree. picking from the skill wheel pauses the gameplay for just a moment. Imagine the skill wheel on the touch pad and instant chaining without gameplay being interrupted. Imagine the video below without the hiccup of pulling up the skills.

Yeah, Nintendo DS was so not a great system that totally didn't have tons of awesome games to play. the idea of utilizing 2 screens to improve an experience has been an abysmal failure. I mean look at the 3ds not a single game to play and it's been selling terribly.
