I'm surprised the author of this article didn't compare MH3 U to elder scrolls: oblivion as far as launch games. Since both came out in march after the launch. Both are immersive RPGs that will kill lots of time on the system. Getting it soon myself and it'll be nice to play when I get it since the online system and goals make it easy to plunk over 100 hours into if not more.

Based on this comment I am unsure if you even actually watched it. Because this video is far deeper than just the title. I mean the first 3 minutes explain quite well why specs don't matter and the rest is the ps4 specs analyzed from a game developers perspective. Explaining deeper why the specs don't matter. He did concede ram matter to developers.

Why does it feel like i'm the only one that sees wii U and 3ds are nintendo reaching out to get back the hardcore? You mean that bayonetta 2, wonderful 101, pikmen 3, deus ex directors cut, xenogears HD and the increasing possibility of fzero and starfox isn't proof enough?
I snagged one but I agree, I wouldn't reccomend it yet because there is not great game selection yet.

Did you not catch the part where they can't drop the price for at least another 6 months. IE, in 6 months there will likely be a price cut. Just in time for whatever sony and microsoft have to hit store shelves and in time for the holidays. They're clever people over there and seeing as sony is popping in 8 gigs of gddr5 and an 8 core x86 processor... Nintendo could probably comfortably sit at 350 for a bit.

God, I kinda wonder how N4g is gonna react if there's any point ps4 is being outsold by wii U, let alone the 720. I hate articles like this because you can literally tell nothing right now from the available info, I mean, we don't even know what the ps4 or 720 will cost, and as the last few gens have taught us, price is king. We can quibble over specs all we like, In the end, the decider is going to be what each system costs.
This is why I still buy physical copies instead. I only have a 4 gig card and that currently holds all I need on that system. Also the price isn't any lower, Seeing as you must provide the storage medium it should be at least 10 dollars less.

You do know that even with it's losses nintendo has something like 14 billion dollars to fall back on from wii and ds. With that much money they pretty much can fail with wii u, and still be propped up by 3ds until the next gen.
Not to mention Nintendo is king of aces in the hole. If there's even a possibility of wii u failure. Boom, new LOZ, new 3d mario, new metroid, new console pokemon. System is fine again.
