It appears to be running at a consistent 60fps the whole time without a single stutter. Combine that with what it's simultaneously displaying on the tablet and it becomes extremely impressive if this is outputting at 1080p too. If it's outputting at 1080p then it's clearly more powerful then a ps3. If it's 720p it's at least as powerful as a ps3.
It's still not even close to as capable as the average computer emulating android. Plug a 360 controller in and boom, you got an ouya. Not to mention it's 100% dependant on an os you already have and games you already can play without it.
There might be games optimized for it but again, the computer with a 360 controller plugged in will easily be able to handle that. It's honestly just one of the stupidest things ever made or concieved.

They really really really should have changed the name. This is gonna cause the same confusion as 3ds did. New system names indicate improved hardware better. It's why some people think a 3ds is just ds level graphics with 3d.

I'll tell you why. It's a fun system to carry around, it's more inexpensive than vita, it has tons of games. TONS! My biggest problem with the 3ds when I open it up is picking which of the 20+ games I have on the device to play. It does something interesting every day.
If you don't own one you wouldn't understand. I'd like to know what vita owners like so much about it. My experience with it I found it unwielding to consider carrying around in my pock...
Actually that's precisely what I expect them to do. It has a very wiisports vibe and it's the only reason I can think of why they would so prominently display it at e3.

It's expanding on portables but it probably will always just be a minor graphics enhancement. If any revolutions are to occur it's gonna be 3ds. Kid icarus does show how 3d can really enhance an experience.
