This is starting to reach consensus. Sounds about right. For something more powerful then current gen that just plain does more... I'd pay $300. Can't wait till devs start showing games that push the hardware more so people can stop thinking it's underpowered. Not that proof would convince some of the n4g users.
It indicates nintendo planned for this . Nintendo is still making profit off the wiis and 3ds sales are more than supplementing right now. How can you say it's failing when the 3ds is number 1 on gaming system sales right now? Just seems stupid.

I've never understood the concept that nintendo stopped supporting the hardcore at some point. I blame it on the short memories of the youth. In reality there was little in the approach of wii that was any different then Nintendo has always taken. Their problem was more the third parties abandoned nintendo followed by gamers who thought it wasn't for them. Meanwhile nintendo did reward those who stuck by. I hope the hardware boost will clear up the hard feelings.
Pretty good considering they've been spending resources on wii U right now and not sold a single console or game for it yet. A lower loss where they were doing the same thing last year indicates 3ds sales are helping considerably.I imagine nintendo might just go green again when wii U drops.

Honestly it does play a part and not because it's some form of political propaganda. Mostly because the conservative side has consistently tried to censor and limit the medium for over 20 years now.
