Also the 3080 is by no means a $1000+ card it's not 2021 anymore, try less than half that. You could even go as far as a 3060ti and maintain a locked 4K60 with say a Ryzen 5 3600.

I mentioned 960 for the sake of range in how low the hardware can go in regards to this particular game, of course you're not going to get 4K60, the PS4 barely managed 1080p with less. You do not need a $2500 machine to run this PS4 game originally made around ancient hardware. It's minimum requirement is a freaking GTX 960, by january next year that'll be a ten year old gpu. They can't skip out, they need the money and have already invested a lot of time and effort into keeping it going. Their only other avenue through their own hardware hasn't been cutting it. Customers taking corporate shenanigans laying down may be common practice on their platform, that's not the case for this one. Options are king over here. They're just gonna have to learn the hard way like another they're familiar with did before them.

Just cause you like the show doesn't mean you need to toss away any good sense regarding the previous entry. Fallout 4 lacked most of what makes a Fallout game. I put it next to Hitman: Absolution in terms of games completely missing the point of a series formula.
