@dRanzer For your sake I hope that's sarcasm.
"Consoles have always been the lowest common denominator."
It's audience always sure has.
@Babadook7
Deluded. This has been covered multiple times. It's a 2060super in terms of performance, at best.
That's been my problem with the series since 3. It's become way too easy to the point they're a mundane chore to play. Far Cry 2 was a bit rough in some areas, but far more fun to play with how relentless the world was; it doesn't hold your hand constantly. You've got to actually think about how you approach an area, what resources you have, the state of your weapon, etc.
@masterfox
It's the same hardware. How it's accessed isn't unique either. If you project any harder you won't need your input lag tv anymore. Look forward to you humiliating yourself yet again.
@masterfox
M.2s didn't start on PS5 kid. That's something that's been on PC for years that technologically inept individuals such as yourself coming from slow ass laptop hard drives in older consoles think is something state of the art and unique when it really isn't.
Of course by the console standard of "next gen" you mean, which tends to be anything but innovative. Just boring predictable narratives with par the course minimum gameplay and performance only bearable if you have no reference to what's actually good by modern hardware standards, then there's the proprietary platform corporate shenanigans...really don't know how you can live like that.
@IRetrouk
Wouldn't be surprised if it's an overworked developer not allowed to leave the office to spend time with his/her family under a career ultimatum from a superior that ended up doing it. Rockstar San Diego's toxic management and work crunch during RDR's development had plenty such examples.
@ disagrees
I don't get how anyone can sympathize with Take-Two or Rockstar given their egregious history. They treat their employees like disposable sweatshop workers and their customers like morons. They deserve this and worse.
They're decent at environmental design, everything else sorta leaves a lot more to be desired. Blair Witch is a good example. For a game that takes place in the woods the lighting, shadowing and fauna layout looked great. The atmosphere was tense and constantly expectant from all directions. The story and gameplay weren't very good though. The twist on the lore in the film series wasn't a good decision, interaction was limited and there was an almost constant reliance on jump scar...
Cringe angst nihilist midwit drivel.
By that logic there's no difference to the PS4 and PS5. They both play games, so same experience. What are you doing driving that car? You only need horse and carriage. What's the difference really besides speed and lifespan?
@garryxcs No one's fault but your own for taking something made clearly in jest literally. Nobody actually thinks there's "zero". How many of your neurons have died by your own hand?
@garryxcs Five is basically zero from my superior standards
@garryxcs "Lots". There's like five "where the games were made", after two whole years. Two of which being highly forgettable such as discount-sackboy product placement platformer and the ragamuffin Twisted Metal wannabe.
Who needs to worry about launchers on there when you have no games?
If you three project any harder you won't need tvs with input lag anymore.
And an optional mod that you have the choice to install, not forced to, does that how?
@Ashunderfire86 Lmao. What innovation? What gameplay? Consoles are closed platforms. Developers and gamers are beholden to the narrow visionary hustler whims of soulless corporations. Everything that's become a standard trend (genres, software, hardware, etc.) has had it's start on PC because there's no arbitrary restrictions impeding individuals from being innovative or having fun.
