@masterfox
I'm pretty sure you're projecting your own insecurities. You made yourself look stupid. Simple as.
They've been releasing new titles pretty much every two years since 2016. The Lab, Artifact, Dota Underlords, Aperture Desk Job. Half-Life Alyx is very much a game and came out in 2020. Clearly they still make games.
@masterfox
i7 what?
"48 GB DDR4" Lmao.
You're so embarrassingly tech illiterate you can't even lie correctly.
Playing Postal correctly starts with not taking it seriously, because it sure as hell doesn't either.
The series takes place in Ukraine. One of the main factions is the Ukrainian military.
@jznrpg Yes limited fun. Between lack of general backwards compatibility. You're limited to what ONE company allows and curates versus no ceiling. That is a large con of a closed platform. For example RedM and FiveM. Third party multiplayer clients objectively superior in every way to Rockstar's own terrible moneygrubbing attempts. PC is also usually the first to get new genres. And of course, mods.

@chobit_A5HL3Y Stop projecting your inferiority complex.
I'd rather quit this hobby than go back to getting nickel and dimed by proprietary nonsense with limited fun.
tl;dr
never going back to consoles
@Eonjay
You can play financial semantics for consoles too. $1100 for both a PS5 and PSVR2, now let's factor in all the premium costs generally ignored. $70 games, $10 "upgrades", $10 monthly redundant paywall fee over a generation. Say you buy 20 new releases out of the year, $70 a pop. That's $1,400 a year, + $60 for 12 month paywall, and let's be generous and say you "upgrade" only three titles $30. That comes to $1,490 a year, over the course of an ...
In what way is a PS5+PSVR2 not a high end cost?
Well it is TheVerge. They're no stranger to tone-deaf projection.
Budget wasn't the real issue with Outer Worlds. The writing was bad. The characters were bad. The gameplay was bad. The exploration was shallow beyond the settlements. The customization was bad. Conversations were mundane. The concept was a single very on-the-nose joke on repeat that kept falling flat, "le living in unregulated capitalist dystopia". May as well just play Fallout, even a Bethesda made one and find a better experience in practically every way.

No thanks. Outer Worlds didn't instill confidence, it was mediocre in just about every way. Obsidian isn't the same studio it was when it made New Vegas. Most of the talent for that left long ago.
Where did I say that was the case? I have no use of a PS5, therefore it's e-waste to me.
Does that include psychological projection?
Good work captain obvious
"buy a PS5 for one game...that's coming to PC anyway"
No I don't think I'll go buy japanese e-waste
Then short-sighted people willingly stuck in a locked down ecosystem can't complain when soulless conglomerate does soulless thing for their or against another soulless conglomerate proprietary device.
Adapt or perish.
Lmao who hurt you?
