I only agree with one on the list. FFX is one of the best games ever made and it set the bar from the minute you started playing =)
No Alan Wake? Blue Dragon at the 10 spot, or more importantly, on any list involving the word best? No Forza? I could go on... this list is broke beyond imagination...
Exactly. I don't blame a business for selling products people will buy regardless of the ethics. If gamers stopped buying bs DLC/passes, they would have to stop. We don't, so they don't...
Not to nitpick, but it isn't free when it comes along with a paid service...
Star Kid explained? Check.
Reapers explained? Check.
Crew on the Normandy explained? Check (but barely).
Overall, my grieveances were addressed. I mean you could compain about the cockblock that was the shepard breathing segment...or the issues with the post world issues in trying to travel on damaged relays, initial survival issues, etc...but in the end it was solid.
Still not up to the usual bioware or ME pedigree...but I can walk away much ...
No $hit you aren't going to please anyone. Hell, if you please 40% of the ME fans you have left, I would consider it a resounding success.
For ME1, DLC, ME2, DLC, and most of ME3, the game was engaging, witty, emotional, moving, etc. Then in the last ten minutes you went with ambiguity, which was delivered in cold and dry fashion. Were you surprised that after 250 dollars and a basic standard of quality being established that people were ticked when you nose dived the end...
Thank you sir for making my spit my drink in laughter. A kudos to you
I would give a kidney for a FF7 HD remake or sequel...
Although artistically speaking, I do agree that DS3 is headed towards a baaaaad direction....financially speaking, you can't blame EA or any other company for trying maximize profits.
They are a business. They make money. Simple enough.
If they need to burn fans to get a greater audience, they will. As would you if your funds were determined by the games sales.
The only way gamers can stop BS practices/ideas/etc is to stop funding them....
For those that had valid gripes with the quality and story inconsistencies (and shared them in a respectable manner) there is nothing wrong with that.
And is "crying" about babies any more mature?
I would say to those who complained about the ending, as well as those who complained about them, both were right. You visit a game community and share thoughts ideas and gripes. To expect otherwise is foolhardy. But as they have the right to complain, so ...
Best comment I have seen on N4G
Not all PC gamers pirate...
Agreed. Each company showed a few good games, most of which were already known about. A few new ips at most between them all.
Either way, I agree with the majority this is exhibit A that the next gen approaches soon...
Simple: I will start looking into a solid PC and dive into PC gaming.
I was underwhelmed but it wasn't abysmmal.
Gears and Halo both look great (even if we knew about them already). I am a fan of XBLA and think Gods Ascend could work (its a strategy game from what I have read even if it looks GoWish due to the trailer) and its nice to see them try to make good games for the Kinect.
A new Alan Wake, Killer Instinct, or Perfect Dark would have been cool to see.
Umm, according to joystiq this is going to be a tactical game which would make it nothing like GoW
Is joystiq wrong? or is the "internets" on n4g wrong?
This ISN'T backwards compatability. Let that sink in for a minute here people.
It may be a great feature...but it isn't BC. For those of us who owned a solid library of PS2 games, we can not play them on the PS3. This new feature will not enable us to do so.
You will have to PAY to play PS2 games.
BS would mean you can play the games you already own...
Once again, do I think this is a sweet feature? Definitely (depen...
Agree to disagree.
As one who has played mario games on and off since the NES, there has been very little innovation with his property. I am not saying they arent fun, but to say he isnt milked to the point of dehyrdration is false.
And shoe horning him into an olympics game, or party game, or tennis game isnt breaking innovative barriers either.
Considering the massive letdown that was HF's campaign, I will be hesitant to expect much from the sequel.
I am sorry to say I thought WET was absolute trash that bored the hell out of me. It involved nothing more than a lame "hardcore" female character who had the depth of a kiddie pool spamming a jump n shoot mechanic which got boring two hours in at best. There are much better games, much better lead characters, etc from anything WET produced.
