Let's see....
Forbes of all places notes how horrible the consumers were treated. Not due to a lack of happiness, vice a lack of finality and resolution.
Random gamers tell me to let Ea/Bioware put it in my mouth as they see fit.
Hmmm...
Although I think the accusation is a bit of a leap...hopefully this sends bioware/ea a message.
You can't falsely advertise a product, shave off content for DLC, etc. Maybe their poor practices will finally get the better of them.
I could care less if the ending is good or bad, but like many, being left with a vague ending with minor differences and no finality was a kick in the crotch
I would like to see a PD sequel or reboot. Or a KI revitalization.
Killaaaa Instinct? I hope so !
Praying its not another Kinect title. I have loved most of the 360 titles (Crackdown, Gears, Halo, Alan Wake, etc) but wouldn't mind a few more that don't involve me dancing around like a clownshoe.
I couldn't be happier.
Consumers are allowed to voice their disapproval with a product, its a consumer right. However, most tend to do it negatively, spewing hateful rants and the like.
This people decided to get their desires noticed by helping sick kids. This is an awesome way to get noticed, kudos to them.
Ironic.
They wanted an ending that was unforgettable and something to talk about. In the end they got just that. No one will forget what a letdown ME3's ending was, and everyone is talking about their disappointment with Bioware/EA.
You get you wished for, kudos to you guys.
Well, game, set, match. Can't argue with that, can you EA/Bioware?
Will a 360 exclusive FPS overshadow a multiplatform action/sandbox game when it releases in a different month? No...amazed anyone would even make this argument
Although I am only 20 hours in, I think its a phenominal title. Great story and dialogue (outside of vega/c"ho"bot), tight gameplay, good graphics, and fun co-op mode = a great game.
Although I have heard the endings are very off in quality, everything else is head and shoulders above most of the generic junk we buy into.
If you don't like it, too each their own. But for every person who hates on ME, I am sure two more love it.
Yes. I ONLY own an xbox. So since this isnt coming to the xbox 360, I wont be buying it. Its pretty simple.
Would I like to own all three? Sure.
I have limited time to play. So I like to maintain a consistent group of people to play with. That is much easier to do on one system.
This isnt a hate filled comment against those that dont publish on MS's platform. But in reality, if they dont go multi, they dont get additional sales.
Thats fine. That means my money is exlcusively going towards MS.
(although kudos to Sony for continuing to secure exclusives, MS has some great hitters but not the same number as Sony)
Guys can do a lot of dumb things involving girl gamers...but there are plenty of girl gamers who feed the damn problem.
So many "oh oh look at me I am a girl gamer RAWR" types that scream to the rooftops about how they are special, how they pwn their boyfriend, how they crush men, etc and then piss and moan when they are judged as female.
Lesson to all? Game for the sake of gaming. Gender shouldn't matter...and BOTH sides of the gender pool need...
Passes mario galaxy? Surely you jest...
OMG if this is a new killer instinct !!! Please MS make it happen ! Although I like the fact you are trying to make good games for the kinect (Ryse, Crimson Dragon, Steel Batallion, etc) I would love some more core exclusives.
KI would be sweet, its my all-time favorite fighter !
ADD: As for the reboot - Perfect Dark or Kameo, perhaps?
I disagree. While the story/campaign is great in single player, solo horde is dull.
They could have had him with barry, and maybe the old gods of asgard, picking apart the taken. How fun that would have been !
Ummm, the PS3 sold VERY well out of the gate.
It was a lack of titles and the insane price that cooled sales for a few years until the signifigant price cuts took effect and the better titles started hitting shelves.
The backwards compatibility had nothing to do with the ps3 resurgence. And the backwards compatible ps3 was/is a highly sought after item.
I have to agree to disagree with you
Dont get me wrong - I own a kinect, for similar reasons. But from a business standpoint, it has declined in value a lot since the initial success
The move failed. Period.
It was a generic copy of the wii. For all intensive purposes, it was the wii HD with none of the titles.
Could it have done great things? With the right software, maybe. But we didn't see that happen.
In regards to mentioning Kinect on this article, the Kinect imo failed too. Not intially, but in regards to longevity it has. How many people care about the Kinect now? once again, a lack of software led to its slow ...
I wonder if the PS3 was backwards compatible, if it would have sold a lot more than it did. It didnt sell bad by any means (slightly outsold the xbox year to year, still behind wii) but it went from powerhouse to competetitor in a generation
The demand for ps2 titles must be high - oh well, a missed oppurtunity to sell ps3's for sony in retrospect
Krogan soldier reporting for duty.
Have beaten silver several times already, not too hard with a good coordinated team of level 20s.
Gold on the other hand...
