The first problem here is actually listening to this dbag in the first place. Like I care what some hypocritical tool has to say. (She has outspoke about attention whore type girls, but got famous from licking a PSP and put her bust out there "for charity")
The second problem is associating real 'girl gamers' with this pos. There are lots of female gamers who dont label themselves as female, who dont lick psps for attention, and who actually FINISH games bef...
Stop it. You are making sense and this is the internet, there is no room for that !
We are entitled?
Let's see, do I agree with the competant arguments laid forth by places like FORBES saying we aren't entitled and some things are to be expected...or do I side with arguments from random gaming portals littered with mindless drones? Hmmm...
Although I think this will take off (one because its a cheap way for women to game, and an assured place for guys to find girl gamers, you know how that goes) I will stay away from this.
As a loyal customer of the gaming industry for two decades, I find the thought of me paying more for content due to my having a pecker pretty insulting.
Name recognition sold this game. I can promise you the writing, gameplay, and graphic sure as hell didn't.
Any game with call of duty, final fantasy, resident evil, etc pre-cursors will sell regardless of quality.
Why is everyone saying EA is better than Activision?
I don't see Activision ripping offline from games in a year, shaving content off as DLC, violating people with an online pass for nearly every game under their banner, etc.
I don't enjoy CoD or most of Activisions stuff (outside of High Moon's transformers) but they dont act nearly as bad as EA
Matt Hazzard was briliant.
Yes I can concede the gameplay wasn't polished and the mechanics were a bit off...but the combination of hilarious writing, unique boss fights, and fun enemy types puts this above most of those duds imo.
I do respect the fact reviews are opinion based and that you are entitled to your opinion.
I however couldn't disagree more.
To me, this felt like the most rushed, uninspired, d-grade title I have played in years.
The writing is mind numbing bad, the graphics are shoddy, the gunplay is sloppy, etc. It is just a bad time.
But of course, to each their own...
Unless they wept over it, its not truth lol. And if they did weep over a game, might want some new company !
Sarcasm aside...the issue wasn't uncharted being a good game and what not, its the extent in which they portrayed the 360 crowd's lusting for it to the point of tears. Its pathetic.
I guess I can't call you a liar anymore than you could me. I guess our spheres of influence are that different to which it shaped our different views I suppose....
Not going to react until we see some confirmed info on some post game DLC.
If this IS true (a very big if), however, then you got to love what EA is doing to Bioware and their games.
Oh well, definitely looking forward to seeing if this is true and the reaction to it.
Hopefully consumers learn to vote with their dollar...but that is something we haven't seen much of this generation...
That could be possible, but I doubt that every (or vast majority) of the complaints came from people with no first hand experience. But then again, this is the internet...
Anyways, I did love MGS1 myself. Something about MGS2 turned me off to the series. Got a little too "out there" for me. But one mans trash is another's treasure =)
I clicked on this out of curiosity as to what the PS3's top exclusives were. And instead of a competant article praising the top PS3 titles, I found juvenile fanboyism at its finest...
"...that 360 fans were left weeping over their exclusives, few of which can hold a candle to Uncharted..."
I play on the 360, as do those I play with (obviously). None of us wept for, lusted over, dreamt of, etc, the Uncharted series.
Does it loo...
If someone doesn't like Nathan Drake (even to the point of listing him as one of the most annoying characters ever) does that warrant people the right to personally attack the site or its author/s?
I know people who swear ND is one of the best characters of all-time. I know others who feel he is a total DBAG and they "forced" the feel of his character with lame humor and lame "charm". Its a matter of opinion.
Sad to see gamers can'...
Is Warrios Orochi 3 on multiple platforms, or only PS3?
I would pick it up. The warriors games are simple titles, but for some reason I have always enjoyed them.
I will wait and see until the companies announce pricing before I have a reaction.
IF it happens...
- I will buy fewer new games. I can barely shell out 60+ bucks for X amount of titles over time. 10 more a pop simply means less new sales.
- I will buy fewer "risk" games, aka the ones that aren't estabhlished companies and/or franchises. I may miss out on some great "under the radar" experiences, but 70.00 gambles are a big ris...
This can't be true.
You need to have an ending to change it in the first place...
I hope this is true.
I was a huge ME fan. Than we elements such as...
- "nerdbait" being shoved into a game that didn't need it and shouldn't have had it (chobot and her horrid VA)
- Controversial Day 1 DLC (which even new buyers missed out on)
- a vague and unfufilling ending with copy and paste ending cinematics (color changing? wow)
- luck based unlocks for characters and weapons in the MP
I could ...
Give me a game where you can see Marcus try to chainsaw Nathan, Cole electrocuting a crackdown agent, or the Helghan tring to take out the Covenant, and I am in.
Day one buy.
Though this will never happen, one can dream...
A journey is very important.
So is the destination, at least in regards to knowing anything about how things happened, what happened after, did ___ actually happen, etc.
At least clarify things and don't walk off in vague ambiguity
You mean her PR people made a decent written apology...
