I don't get the hate for MS around here (well, besides the fact on N4G it is cool to hate on the 360)
This holiday, we will get to relive Halo CE in HD. We will have a tight racer with Forza 4. We will have a kick ass TPS in Gears 3.
People complained Kinect had no games...now we are seeing titles like Fable The journey and Ryse showing core games can be done on Kinect, in addition to solid looking sequels in DC2 and KS2.

I thought it was fun. The graphics are ok for this generation (nothing exceptional) but the duke style and humor is back in tow, the guns are just as fun as ever to use, and the enemy AI makes sense (they tend to rush and lack coordination...but they are an angered alien race of pighumans...what did you expect)
I don't know about other players, but I enjoyed the demo.
The graphics aren't AS bad as everyone made them out to be (on the critic level) and the gunplay is solid. Plus, we only got to see like two very small portions of the game. To damn it early just seems pre-emptive.
Just like the sony boys said ME was a mediocre rpg, that bungie was a d-grade developer, etc.
Fanboys on all sides exist.
Great for those who want MGS and trophies/achievements.
However, if its to get people caught up on the series, why omit MGS1? JW.

1 - This does nothing to make girl gamers equal. Treating them as if they are gold-laden unicorns in a world of mortals seperates, it doesn't bring people together.

Wouldn't be surprised TBH. Nothing against ND though.
MP is the big emphasis in the industry. Games that didn't "need" MP modes are jamming them in, and most shooter campaigns are getting smaller in scale and focus by comparison.
It may not affect UC3, only time will tell. But its a disturbing trend that will affect most shooters.
How can you disagree with that? I am merely saying those are my most anticipated games...
Gears 3 will be amazing and I am also looking forward to Dead Island footage.

This game has already gone gold and for good reason: it looks like a fun game.
So many games hype themselves up, claim to have epic stories, insane twists, etc and fall short.
Duke is duke: a simple-minded but entertaining shooter with big guns and babes. The series has always been this way, whether it be in 2d side-scrolling, FPS or TPS form.
Hail to the king, can't wait for this game!
Sony - they have the best overall games lineup thus far, so if they can capture some more of the casual crowed and breathe some life into MOVE, they could try and capture all bases
MS - Kinect is beast, but as said elsewhere here, needs titles. Also, we need new exclusive announcements or they will lose the core crowd to Sony for sure

Halo and Fable are starting to fade? really? I think reviews and sales will disagree with you on both.
Personally speaking, Fable 3 was a blast, but needed to work on the portion in which you ruled Albion. It felt rushed. Outside of that, a great title. And Reach was frecking phenominal. Tight MP, a great campaign, and firefight w/truckloads of options.
Maybe I am just wierd but both of those franchises seem fine. I would love to see whats next for them
Although I do agree, I think (can't say for sure) his point was against the lame achievements, such as insane collectible counts (Crackdown 2 anyone) or insane grinds (Gears 2, Star Ocean TLH)

Those who want to play MP can, and those who don't want to bother can leave it alone. Should reduce boosters/cheaters online and leave it to those who want to compete.

I could care less that they changed dante's look. Yes, he looks like an emo tool that should be in a twilight film more than an action game. But gameplay makes games, not asthetics alone.
That is my problem. Have you played heavenly sword or enslaved? Thier combat systems fail hard and I seriously doubt they will be able to do the tight and polished DMC combat system justice.

MS did sacrifice resources to nail the casual end, and its working brilliantly. That doesn't mean the hardcore will go abandoned for long.
We have had many great titles on the 360 (as has the PS3) and I doubt they are going to just say no thanks and walk off half of the gaming market.
Expect them to try and tackle both this E3, just one mans predicit...

It's gone up in price like one time in 8 years. And that was last year. I wouldn't expect a price increase for quite sometime.
Doing so would give Sony yet another argument for that platform.
