This would inspire me to upgrade to the PS Vita-2000 model they're sure to announce. The 1st PSASBR left a lot of room for improvement in the series, from graphics to gameplay. The game just came out last year, so the chance of a sequel already is miiiiighty slim. But it IS E3, a time when ANYthing is possible ;)
...and give us Crash, Spyro, and Snake or don't bother
Here to announce Metal Gear V...ita?
Go handheld or go home. Nuff said
Contra is the most hardcore game that man will ever encounter. It makes Gears of War look like Adventures in Babysitting. It's been known to make 5 year old boys grow chest hair. I was one of those 5 year old boys. Part 4 of the saga inspired me to buy a DS. Part 5 would probably kill me
Ya THINK Vita could use a big E3?
Trade shows hold an immense, dangerous amount of power. I was losing faith in Vita last year. It had a weak showing at E3 and there was literally nothing to look forward to on the horizon. Then, in late summer, came Gamescom in Germany. I really had very little expectations for this conference, since Gamescom is about the size of E3's pinkie toe and there wasn't much hype for Vita going in.
But sneaky Sony blindsided me with a slew of Vita surprises. 'Tearawa...
Little Orbit only has one game under their belt: 'Monster High Skulltimate Roller Maze'. It scored 60%+ on 3DS from both reviews I saw, so as of now it doesn't look like they're just here to push out complete garbage. They only deal with licensed games, and the ones they get at the moment ain't exactly A-list. Still, if they made a good Young Justice game I'd pick it up. And just between you and me, I'd even pick up a good Monster High game. If it's cool f...
I saw Dimps: "Noooo"
I saw gameplay: "YAAAA!!"
There's no questioning the 3DS gets tons more retail games, but 95% of those have no appeal to any serious gamer over the age of 8. I'm not bashing the IPs themselves, b/c I'd jump all over Disney Infinity or Regular Show if they were really good (I owned Goosebumps: Horrorland and Marvel Super Hero Squad on DS, both xcellent games). Problem is, they almost always end up too short & easy to be worth it.
The perfect way to describe the Vita's retail softw...
I think the release of 'Gummi Bears Minigolf' on 3DS last week perfectly illustrates this shovelware he's referring too. Vita's PSN update this week alone had Limbo, Quell Memento, Toro's Friend Network, and Paint Park Plus, four extremely high quality games/apps, two of which were free. Sony is pushing for quality digital titles WAY harder than Ninty is for the 3DS. The author's point is valid
Go handheld or go home
That would be neat
A boy and his blob
This'll be the best Sonic game since Sonic & Knuckles
Sonic can walk in this game
They are lettin us use buttons. That's on top of lettin us use the only input method Ipad games are good for
Who is Adam??
Call of Duty. With a legit developer this time.
I'd also be geeked up about Ghost Recon, Syphon Filter, Time Splitters (oops, I was dreamin just then), Bioshock, MGS, Tomb Raider.
Now that I think about it, there are very few AAA retail titles that I wouldn't be xcited about at this point
That's def better than just screenshots. How am I sposed to sleep with all this xcitment??
I'd like em to overhaul everything and just keep the basic premise of a crossover fighter. PSASBR wasn't bad by any stretch, but it didn't feel like what 1st party Sony titles are capable of
