Actually I don't think they will...Its recession(still) and major games in first year, year and half will be ports on Wii 2 and won't give necessary leap forward. When exclusives star to roll,MS and Sony will already be there at the gates, with considerably faster machines, and THAN it will become nightmare for Nintendo(if they don't come up with something that will interest people other than more ram and better gpu).
Why would they shoot for mere 16 megs of eDRAM?Thats odd...thats just enough for 2xMSAA on 720p or 1080p without any MSAA.Maybe some kind of post process AA(FXAA,MLAA etc.?) that doesn't require memory.
Actually, quad core for console(size matters ;) ) is not so expensive as it was 5 years ago.1.5 gig of ram is also cheap and 48xx cards are nothing to brag about in todays PC world. You got to understand that 360 and PS3,when they came out,had everything top of the class except memory so this really shouldn't go above 400$.
No they are all in game...
They are all in game cutscenes.
Textures are much better than last time, what are you talking about?
I'm blown away by how much Epic improved everything...From artstyle,to what seems to be more variety and alot of gameplay types and graphics which are absolutely kick ass.Character models, lighting, post processing,scale,animations... everything is anted up!Great job!Cant wait for E3.
I see it being softer.Probably both of them are sub hd or germans capture card isnt working.
Woho can't wait!
There is almost no lead platforms anywhere.Generally big publishers(EA,Acti and Ubi) have dedicated teams working on each version, just assets are the same but there is no more porting.
Tell me you are joking, please :)
"baked" sun shafts(god rays, sun rays, however) are just post processing effect(like lens flares) and they are indeed "baked",aka not volumetric because its extremely slow, especially on consoles. Those are the rays from light source(sun) that can "peek" through trees or windows in certain angle(check RDR,GOW III etc.),that has NOTHING whatsoever to do with HDR,HDR(which stands for high dynamic range) is just a term which giv...
Sun shafts(the sun rays that you can see through trees in some games) are simple post process effect and have nothing to do with HDR.

And I'm wrong for saying PS3 version uses QAA instead being sub hd like LOT said? What does HUD placemant have to do with number of pixels pushed by consoles?Huh...
Stupid Lens Of Truth...I have been saying they are stupid on many instances, this is one of them. "PS3 version is running at lower resolution because HUD is differently placed",WHAT?This is the stupidest thing I heard from them since when they tried to pass pre baked sun rays as HDR.PS3 and 360 run at 720p.Difference is that 360 uses 4XMSAA and PS3 uses QAA that blurs image a bit but its not sub hd.
Yea,we need to see more FPS action not mixed sequenced which, truth be told, look quite crazy.
Impressive amount of idiots in such a small space...
Yes on PC with DX11 enabled.MW3 footage runs on console(according to b3d) at 60fps.Its not really fair to compare those two...
Of course there is no comparison...On one side you have taken pictures from a game with new engine, maxed out on most powerful hardware today and DX11 enabled and on the other side you have a pictures taken from console footage of game running at 60fps.Of course there is no comparison, but MW3 actually looks pretty good(aside the fact that those shots are screen captures from video).
Now roll on the disagrees...
Its not HD so I can't judge for sure but cmon...Those NY scenes are just epic.Much better than Crysis 2 IMO...
MW2 ALWAYS looked great on consoles while maintaing 60 fps.I'm sure MW3 with all that meyhem will only look better...
CANT WAIT!
Wow...what a jagged mess...
