I wish my issues were Drift. First my charger port died in my Switch (and when I sent it in for repairs the "fix" somehow magically erased all my data) and now the speakers have ceased all audio output.
....what???
The start of the PS4 gen was slower but the end of the PS3 gen was also pretty packed.
I imagine that the studios we haven't heard from for a while have something in mind for the next system.
Maybe try not flashing the breasts and panties of underage characters and adding some fairly rape-y elements to games?
Just a thought.
LMAO they never added Vita sales to PS4 sales. They counted their sales when mentioning how many units the PS Brand sold in whatever year, that's it. They report PS4 numbers separately.
So literally nothing of value was lost.
Sweet.
Oh hell no it is not. It's up there with Origins.
That Cap game was freakin' great.
So many people in here whining about how other people play a game.
No one's forcing you to use the mod, they're not cheating you out of anything, y'all need to chill.
It's not really them so much as it's Deep Silver. Not the first time they've scooped up a Kickstarter game and then treated its backers like crap either.
Idgaf about its original purpose, I want a handheld that doesn't die as fast as the Switch currently does.
That's all I use it for.
"Another thing is, when games become persistent online, we unlock so many new ways of building their business models. Right now we look at premium and free-to-play, but online you can build things like stores where you can trade. You can monetize in any way you want. You could do subscriptions and many other models. There are so many ways of exploring new business opportunities. We want to ensure that creators can create value and then find out how to monetize after that."
...
Nah, the moment you try to tie my SP game to persistent network connectivity, you can keep it.
@Atom That's still a thing in current canon. One of the novels, Aftermath, makes specific reference to a former Imperial officer who caught one of his Troopers with a book teaching one of the alien languages and broke his fingers as punishment. Then told him he'd gotten off easy compared to what their commander would have done to him.
I think everyone's overlooking the fact it has much better battery life too. That's a VERY high selling point for people who wanted this thing mostly as a handheld.
Shoot, I remember falling asleep and leaving my Vita on all night and still having over 1/3 my battery left, I miss those days.
Math is not your strong suit, is it?
You're talking a price difference of $300, that's quite a significant difference.
Same thing happened as this gen and the PS4 approached, but back then it was all about how Sony was gonna go Bankrupt and MS would totally buy all the PlayStation studios so the PS4 was a waste of money!
And other such nonsense. lol
"At Launch"? That's quite the shifted goalpost there, friend.
I've got a PC, still game on the PS4 too.
You show me a PC that's playing Marvel's Spider-Man, God of War, and Horizon, and I will buy that right up tho. :P
The PS4 will not be playing PS5 games.
So basically... Nintendo is the Apple of Gaming.
