Honestly, why even waste the money at this point? The damage is done.
I'd be fine with it, provided it's addressed honestly and not used as a bludgeon to beat people you disagree with over the head.
Sadly it's more often than not the latter, and that's just gonna foster resentment and division.
Woah now, you best slap an NSFW tag on there before showing everyone someone's giant area.
...I'll see myself out.
"That was the point for Bendis. “Someone had once said to me, ‘When I was a kid, I could only play Spider-Man, I couldn’t play Batman or Superman because my friends would say you’re not the same color, but I could play Spider-Man because when I fantasized about Spider-Man, he looked like me under the mask.’
“That was a big inspiration.”

Sure they let them keep the IP, but they're not allowed to take that game anywhere else. So they kinda still got a bum rap.
By that logic though, so is this alleged Spider-Man deal. Because most of Homecoming's profits do go to Sony. Marvel has merchandising rights, however, and they keep all profits of any other film Spider-Man appears in.
Honestly, it just has to do with the fact that, as per Marvel's statement, they wanted the character's games treated well, they saw how well PS treats their FP and their TP Published titles, and they trusted Spider-Man would get that same level of...
That's complete speculation and seems highly unlikely. Especially as Sony sees the lion's share of the profits from Homecoming.
Marvel Games is a separate division and made the call on who to give the license to due to how well PS treats its first party, and wanting Spider-Man to get that same treatment.
They don't. Marvel specifically chose them. Has squat to do with the movie license, which is all they own.
Yeah no. Otherwise Marvel Games wouldn't be involved.
Marvel opted to work with Sony, but Marvel reacquired the game license from Activision back in 2014. Reacquired all their game licenses, in fact. They're now dealing them out to whomever they see fit.
PlayStation was chosen because Marvel felt that they would treat this game with the same level of care and quality control they give their first party titles. (Golly, it's almost as if quality...
So Hulk can float across the ground while looking like crap?
You know the second they announced a BP game the N4G comments would be overflowing with "muh diversity agenda"
Sony still has the Spider-Man movie license.
It's literally for the sake of playing keep-up.
"If THEY get an exclusive, WE should get one too!"
Gonna go out on a limb and say it's cuz he's green and "muh Cloud destruction".
Bendis actually kinda did admit it when he made Miles though.
That said, he's a supporting character in this game, which is a far cry from the situation in Ultimate Spider-Man to boot.
A bad player demoing a game can seriously harm the image people get of it. I can think of a few right off the bat where people got turned off the idea just because the player was so terrible.
What in the actual hell are you on about?
Why does no one respect the hyphen?
Uh... that story is VERY focused, dude. Arguably more so than P4.
