This. Isn't. Disney.
Marvel Entertainment sets their own policies regarding their characters, and Marvel Games has said that anyone with the license is free to use any character they choose.
Besides which: this is citing a years-old policy. The X-Men books have since been revitalized and pushed quite a bit.
It's Capcom that opted not to use them as they want to leverage the MCU.
1. Disney doesn't run Marvel. Marvel runs itself. Independently.
2. This is also complete speculation. Marvel Games outright said these studios they license to can use any of their characters any way they see fit.
Seek help. Seriously.
How, exactly? Do tell, expert game designer.
Check Insomniac's twitter. Lotta folks either "giving them advice" on QTE usage or people mocking them for making an "interactive movie".
"Hold your hand QTE moments"
OK, explain hgow you pull off either of those scenes without QTE.
It's not hand-holding if it's the only realistic way to pull off scenes like that.
Marvel doesn't own Star Wars, son. That's Lucasfilm, and they, like Marvel, are independently operating, wholly-owned Disney subsidiaries.
And EA's got VERY talented Devs, it's their corporate structure that muddies things. Which Lucasfilm appears to have addressed with them.
Tip that fedora, son.

Thing is the campaign, which IS the depiction of the historical events of WWII, IS being done with historical accuracy. The MP, however, is not. Not unless you want certain teams to inherently lose depending on the battlefield, or deathmatch only.
Folks really need to chill on that. Especially when a lot of said folks were just fine with altering WWI to hell and back for Battlefield 1.
I hope they eat a lot of beef. /s
Seriously though, it's a fantasy tale, and I doubt it's gonna try to imply literally everything is a myth or any other such things. Indiana Jones managed to deal with Hinduism in a Fantasy?Adventure setting while still not utterly tossing out the religion so I don't see why Uncharted won't do the same.
Marvel approached THEM, my guy, and did so because they knew Sony would treat it with the same clout and bravado as they did their own in-house first party titles.
Take it up with Marvel.
Sony holds the Spider-Man video game license for now.
Maybe you should read his quote instead of a headline. He said Indies were less relevant to big showcases since they have more of their own games and PSVR to show, plus that the 60 second Indie Showcase showed you nothing about those games & you learned more watching the later show coverage. Not that Indie games aren't important to their system; in fact, he said they were.
I love how everyone ignores that one little key word so they can try to pick apart what Layden said.
"HELP"
HELP push it past 100 mil. Not that is ALONE would push them past 100 mil.
If you're referring to Mary Jane: Emma Stone played Gwen Stacy, not her.
...though tbhj she had more in common with MJ than Comic Gwen but I digress.
Newcomers to the games, not brand new characters.
We saw that in ASM1's game.
Please, enlighten me on how they can do that for the MP in solely those countries.
Because it's still in the freakin' campaign.
Wolfenstein does. In Germany. Which is why this is being done. In the MP.
This isn't a Disney policy.
Why do people seem to thing Bob Iger sits there micromanaging every subsidiary?
