And the epic battle continues! Will Cell continue on top? Or can Son Goku triumph again? Find out next time, on Dragon Ball Z!
Nice, glad we'll get to try the PS3 version. That's definitely my preffered version because of the controller, but if it's a technical wreck I'll opt for the 360 one.
The pricing on the Go is whack. That thing should not be $250.
I don't like that last quote about the 360 version, content will be prepared 'in a different form'... If the 360 version gets DLC but we're forced to shell out for a full new disc version, I'm gonna be pissed.
It's really good for a fan movie, production-wise. CG is good, cameras they have are awesome. The acting is pretty cheesy, but they do the voices well enough. Snake sounds pretty much like Snake, Otacon voice is good too. Haven't finished watching it yet, but it's pretty enjoyable so far. Obviously, you can't expect big things, but for a fan movie it's in a league of it's own.
I'm hoping once October hits, the release a gameplay trailer that just blows all these haters away.
It's a multiplayer only demo, kinda like Bad Company or Battlefield 1943 style. There's no single player in the demo.
Also, the difference between a beta and a demo - a beta is unfinished work done to test server loads and play. Demo's are pretty much finished product, very little if anything will change.
Just a heads up, but PSInsider's other rumors have turned out not to be true. They said Kojima would announced his next 'games' at TGS, which didn't end up panning out.

Just before anyone gets their hopes up.
Yea, there's nothing I hate about motion controls... I just feel there downright unnecessary at some points. Like if a game uses good motion controls, I'm all for that, I just don't like gimmicky stuff.
I think the biggest concern is fragmenting the PS3 userbase. If this takes off in a big way, you're still going to be stuck with a sizable percent of the userbase without the motion controller.
Although, I guess in reality it isn't a whole lot different than what Nintendo did with Wii Motion+, except that's a whole lot easier to bundle... And if they did release a Wii HD, that would just further fragment the Wii base too.
Rainy Woods definitely looks a little dated now, but I would be downright shocked if we didn't hear at least a little bit about it at TGS. MMV has been talking about switching their efforts over to the PS360 ever since their Wii games have been flopping left and right, so it would make sense for Rainy Woods to make it's grand reappearance here.
Considering that Insomniac is done with Ratchet after their next game, I guess I see this being a little more surprising than some of you. I'm really hoping we get a new IP from ND before a new Uncharted game. Keep Uncharted special, don't whore it out ND!
Quantum Theory looked kinda meh at the E3 showing. I'm hoping they've polished the game up a bit.
SCEA won't allow a game to be published without an English dub, which is probably why Sega's been dragging their feet with the title.
I actually hope they just rebrand this game altogether. Give it a new name(use Yakuza 3 as like a subtitle), market it as GTA: Japan.
I think what needs to be clarified is that it may not push the GRAPHICS to the max like Uncharted or Killzone, but the hardware to the max. There's a lot of physics and stuff going on here.
Would make sense... Shane used to work for 1Up, now he works for Ignition, so he would be in the ideal spot to leak this info.
Wow, didn't expect it to do that well. Thought it would perform evenly with the 360 version.
Yup! I'm sure a lot of people that were waiting to get in are pissed, but this is exactly what the beta is for. Now if it's still like this come January, then we have an issue...
Caaaaaaaaaan't wait for Uncharted :P
