It's online co-op only. I guess on the one hand, it's good to see games like Ninja Gaiden getting co-op that usually wouldn't, but still, I'd rather have split screen than anything else.
Yea, this just dawned on me the other day. I had a buddy over the other day and he never played the PS3. I wanted something big to show him, but the only 2p game I had was Resistance 2, which is sick but over a year old.
It's even worse for 4 player games, all we can do is play Warhawk, which is sick, but even Halo and stuff has 4 player split screen.
Played the demo, while it's obvious the 360 version is better, I didn't think the PS3 one played that bad. Definitely reminiscent of the 2007 era port jobs though.
Well, if they begin now, it still won't be done for another 2 years.
Naughty Dog should change their name to Dogs of War because that's what they are, only bringing high quality games to the table. They deserve every sale. Now bring on Uncharted 3!
I haven't played the 360 demo so I'm not sure if it's a PS3 issue or just a general game issue, but they game looks kinda blah. Lots of aliasing issues, shadows popping in, undefined textures, etc.
That being said, the actual gameplay is awesome. I just sat in the training room for like 20 minutes beating people up and learning/having fun with the moves. The bosses are epic as hell, and the whole game just wreaks of that DMC/Hideki Kamiya flair.

Couldn't agree more. Game shows a lot of promise, but when I was playing, the online lag was horrendous and the fact that the roster is missing so many characters is also lame.
Important to note that it's not necessarily a PS3 exclusive, it just confirms that at the very least, it will be on the PS3.

Hahaha, actually, they have really similar problems IMO. Killzone 1 did a great job setting an atmosphere and universe, but the gameplay was meh... same with WET!
I hope it's a different project and not an MMO, cuz I'm really not interested in MMOs. Wonder if it's exclusive?

Juat a FYI, you can only use 7 colors when you make a character. Wonder if that was to stick with the retro theme or not?
It doesn't have English subtitles anyways, so unless you know Japanese there's no point in importing it.

I would be super curious to find out what the budget of this game is, since there's no voice acting, limited animation, etc. Just goes to show that if you used a stylized graphics engine, you can get great results even with a low budget. Can't wait for this game!
Don't get me wrong, I love me some Uncharted 2, but I think it's whack that Insomniac's games always kinda get the marketing shaft from Sony. Uncharted drowned out Tools of Destruction, LBP got the bulk of marketing instead of R2, and now the media and Sony is treating Uncharted 2 like the second coming of Christ.
Yea, it's been so long since a new mainstream FF hit, I could see that.
Still think an option would be better than nothing.
