I think that XBL helped sell Borderlands, I know getting invites and seeing everyone on my list pushed me to get it. Plus, PS3 owners had Uncharted to play.
Probably because the PS3 browser sucks.
When is that Academy demo coming out? Tomorrow?
Talk about low expectations lol
LOL @ everyone that thought this was gonna be Wii exclusive just 'cause it was in Nintendo Power.
I can't imagine them going back to do a PS3 version of the first one now, unless its like a PSN downloadable.
Kinda surprised. I didn't really think anyone cared enough about the games for a third one.
i think it's cuz the review makes a fabio reference, how he did all those like fantasy book covers lol
"If that all sounds like something you've done before, then good — it probably should. Demon's Souls hits all of your tired, stereotypical high fantasy, action RPG tropes. In terms of the presentation of the game, there's a laundry list of things that just screams 'been there, done that.' If Demon's Souls was a book, the cover would feature a broadsword-wielding, half-nake...
It's in the post?
Makes sense, because thats the title of the new cartoon.
Yea, too often it's the other way around. Devs shouldn't be milking the loyal fanbase like that. They should have like a DLC 'pass', where maybe you pay $10 instead of $5 but then you get all subsequent map packs free.
PSN and XBL are just as bad. DLC rarely ever drops in price, nor do games. Why am I still paying full price for map packs that hit 2 or 3 years ago?
Meeeeeeh, Tri-Ace. I'm skeptical, already been burned twice by their previous 360 bombs.
Agreed. I hope Insomniac really does something that pushes their comfort levels a bit more. Ratchet/Spyro/Resistance are all great, polished games, but none of them really do anything that hasn't been seen before.
Calling Twisted Metal an action game is like calling Mario a shooter because you can shoot fireballs and other projectiles. Clearly Twisted Metal =\= an action game.
I'm glad they aren't doing Twisted Metal... I think car combat games were great for when they came out, but I don't think they aged well at all.
Probably didn't pass Sony's Quality Control >_>
Seriously though, I remember being really excited about this game in 2007. It hasn't aged well, but I'd still play it. Actually surprised Sony didn't try to grab it to counter Alan Wake.
Blatant typo here, the article is clearly about Activision.
Screw Hitman, forget about Kane and Lynch - Freedom Fighters is screaming for a sequel.
Says the dog about the hand that feeds :P
So what's this game about? Is it like a real Final Fantasy-type RPG? Been dying for one of those.
