You should really read the interview before saying that. Direct quote from David Hayter:
"I spoke with Alan a couple of times while I was writing it and he was very, very supportive of me, not of Hollywood, but me as a writer and sort of a fellow artist. I really made it clear how much I love his work and how important it was for us to get Watchmen right. So, I think he appreciated that and he read my script and he gave me a very good quote in “Empire Magazine”. I was reall...
Movie/book spoilers -
1 - Soundtrack. There were a few songs that went well(the intro was awesome), but there was a lot that just didn't fit.
2. Drawn out sex scenes. Unnecessary and awkward.
3. Silk Spectre II saying the 'nothing ever ends' line. The way Jon said it in the book, especially directly to Adrian, was what really made the ending.
I think this goes without saying, but if Hayter's faithful adaptation The Watchmen is any indication, Konami/Sony need to get him working on the MGS movie.
I challenge any other Hollywood screenwriter to do a better job than him.
hahaha, very james bond-ish indeed.
It sold about 400K on PS3.
At any rate, I don't know why this is so surprising, the sequel was announced on the PS3 version.
Demon's Souls is selling better ATM... so if anything, thats the game that would propel them.
how? PSN accounts are shared between PSPs and PS3s. They never claimed 20 million PS3 PSN accounts. Plus, that not all PS3 owners necessarily own the game either.
Something to note is that this is just the number of people that have played the game while online, not necessarily that have played online multiplayer. Microsoft has claimed there are only 9 million that pay for Gold, so that should throw a red flag right there.
surprised 2nd week sales are so high... wonder how long it will manage to chart for? good job guerilla and sony!
quantum theory is a 3rd person action game like gears of war.
nice... while i'm sure this isn't the Square or Level 5 JRPG that i'm sure a lot of the more casual fans were hoping, the atelier series are really good. can't wait!
so many people. do lines like that actually happen for any games in the US? Grand Theft Auto or Halo, perhaps? i've never seen one, though I don't exactly live in a populated area.
i still think theres got to be a better way to create tension then by making the game play so awkwardly
To be blatantly obvious, you're getting disagrees because people don't like what you're saying, whether it's right or not.
In regards to Edge, I like their magazine, and I like how brutally honest. In general, I agree with the actual context of their reviews more often than not, but I seldom agree with their number scores. Seriously, sometimes I'll read one of their reviews and think it will be like an 8, and then its a 4 or 5.
Point in case, actually, is Killzon...
Can't wait for tomorrow... Time feels like is passing as slow as it did when I would stare at the clock in 6th grade math class.
I think a couple of the low scores were just to get hits from all the angry ps3 fans... kinda sad some outlets have to resort to that =\
another good review! seriously, i haven't been so hyped for a game since MGS2(and what a disappointment that was).
I just started playing BASS! It's such a good game. Wish they would do a big budget sequel for PS3/360/PC, though.
knew it was too good to be true. didn't make sense for sony to release ratchet, uncharted, possibly heavy rain, and god of war 3 all in the same months. plus every other god of war title launched in march
Agreed... At first, I read it as he was making a production company to make film adaptations of video games, which I was excited for, but I dunno about this one.
Hope for the best, though!
