I saw the trailer. This NEW Strider game just doesnt have the same arcade spirit.
Anyone with a decent MAME emulator - Play the arcade version. You'll see what I mean. All the graphical upgrades in the world, cant duplicate that nostalgic feeling of an oldschool arcade game.

Mark Cerny isnt just "working for a company." He actually built the PS4. Mark isnt saying anything about the PS4...that isnt true. The specs are there. The man who worked on it, is there. He has given multiple speeches, trying to explain the technical nature of the machine. He's done more in terms of community relations and social speaking, than Microsoft has...AND he has done a BETTER job of it.

Cerny is the lead architect for the PS4. He practically built it. If anyone knows what this machine is capable of doing, without a doubt...it would be Mark Cerny.

No, it's because people are saving up for next gen consoles right now. The PS3 and 360 have had nearly 7 years on the market. One of the 2 if not both consoles are already in the majority of people's homes by now. I dont think it's about a certain platform "dying"...as much as I think it's MORE about a certain platform doing BETTER than the others.
