Lol I was thinking the same thing
And the fact that quick resume game switching works even after unplugging the console is actually amazing
Making the dusty backlog shinier and making games on it more accessible with game pass is also a plus.
The exclusivity drought will be fixed with time now that they have some studios finally.
I’m honestly liking their vision with series x
Add this with the quick resume working even after the consoles is unplugged. It’s kind of amazing what they’re doing with series x.
nice so i wanted to ask you , have you noticed the youtube app and netlfix app on the one x dont run HDR on the cx, only dolby atmos and vision from the netflix app works, the youtube app and netflix app on my ps4 pro runs hdr on the cx and ofc the native youtube app on tv runs hdr and hlg, but its weird that the youtube app on the one x doesnt run hdr on the tv, Apparently it has something to do with youtube supporting hlg and the tv focusing on HDR10 or something?
and i was ...
lgcx has 4 slots of 2.1 yeah
i reckon we wont be seeing any 4k 60fps games this gen or atleast for the first 2 years, mostly dynamic resolution or CB from 1440p 60fps or full 4k 30fps, and ofc 1080p/1440p 120fps
yessss , same same, do you have an xbox, connected to the cx?
Get an lg oled cx
yes they will come with hdmi 2.1
the original vision for xbox one in 2013 , it was one for the one system for all entertainment, the console was shown off first for the tv functionality.
lol this this , accurate

Honestly the competition is already coming to fruition, the ps plus collection for ps5 and the ps4 bc initiative is a great step from sony. We are already benefiting from this as gamers who probably have a long history of purchases from each store of both ecosystems that we can carry forward with us to next gen.
Yep I also don't get the negative sentiment with bc and gamepass, but its all ammo for the 'xbox has no new games' sentiment. Its toxic and short sighted. And hopefully with time and new studios now xbox can satisfy the drought in exclusives they face. Their bc and gamepass and pc crossave initiative is super consumer friendly.
Yep it's not for you then. Got it. It's great for people who are interested in it, like me.
Yeah the disc only acts like a digital license, once you pop the disc in the game file gets downloaded from ms store, ironically their original vision of game discs for xbone is their format for xbox bc. Discs act like a license for bc games.
Most notable games not available on the store for purchase from my experience is arkham origins for 360, although it is bc with a disc.
Woah, this is the thing digital foundry was talking about they have a method to double frame rates of old titles. Sounds very interesting. Especially with the auto hdr on bc games.
It’s pretty cool to see games I’ve bought back in the 360 days still working on the next gen. It’s a win win for gamers. Pretty cool.
Also watching this, reminded that mass effect is so good. I got mass effect from games on demand on my 360 back in the day and I can’t believe it’s still accessible from my account on this next gen machine. I can respect that philosophy.
This is great to see. I reckon ps5 will also probably be pushing uncapped framerate games as well to capped 60. It’s great to see that the old library you have moves forward with improvements. Plus the auto hdr implementation is fascinating technique to see. I bought an lg cx oled to experience all this.
having your old games run better and faster in new systems is always a win for gamers.
Platinumed this when it came out, all consoles at launch need their order 1886 or their ryse.
I doubt naughty dog, remedy or bend would be doing this, but what about blue point? Seems like a good candidate for it considering their relationship with Sony now.
Lol oh man don’t let it dampen your enthusiasm. Video games are great 😊
