The dev says they’re aiming for a late 2021 release. Looking forward to it.
lol its all fan boy bs, i'm totally looking forward to playing halo reach in 120fps, and hopefully with boost mode unlocked framerates can push tlou in 120fps too. if it does then it would be my 8th playthrough of this masterpiece.
any change? tlou is still one of the best games of the last 10 years imo
yes yes yes pls
@ziggurcat
lol. lot of hoops to jump through to reach that logic.
PS5 70$ package = Campaign + multiplayer + coop
Xbox 70$ package = Campaign + multiplayer
@ziggurcat
What? It comes out with the game on nov 13 without any extra cost for PlayStation. That’s part of the base game. It’s like spec ops for mw. Which was also locked for a year for ps.
Darthpaul
Well in that case, your writing and grammar is amazing.
Well if that’s to be taken then street fighter 5, ff7 remake fall in that category I would think. Ff16 as well now. Or dead rising 3 for Xbox.
And dead rising 4 as a one year Xbox exclusive.
Third party games appearing on one console for a limited time isn’t new and devs have incentives to do it, I don’t begrudge them. They need the funds anyway they can.
Things like nier automata, judgement, 2 new bathesda games deathloop and ghost wire tokyo, a...
@lifeisgamesok
Uhuh I just checked the Cerny article with digital foundry. It seems he says they have enough power capable of running max clocks together at the same time with gpu and cpu.
You are right. I stand corrected. Apologies.
Exactly why I'll be waiting for df. I need both, the first console will be bought based on their performance analysis.
Yah not comparable. This mode is part of the $70 base game for all systems. A pc Xbox player pays the same price as a ps player and gets a lesser game for a year.
The 360 gen had paid dlc for a month early. Dlc is paid extra that you can choose to pay for or skip. Not part of the base game.
@Darthpaul
Lol, That was too coherent and comprehensible for just a week. Fake news !!
Paying the same price on Xbox and pc. Without a mode in it. Not cool.
@lifeisgamesok
the point is that the max clocks of gpu cpu would be running high one at a time, or both balanced clocks at the same time
Xbox crowd expects a lot, i'm console agnostics and i'm looking forward to seeing microsoft really give sony a run for their money this gen with first party output, Sony is killing it in terms of quality for the last 2 gens , since resistance 1 on ps3 to tlou 2 on ps4 their first party output has been consistently good to spectacular / generation defining. As a fan of video games i want a halo that can match the quality of god of war, as a fan of gears i want it to match tlou. This cu...
yeah look up the amd smart shift system, the power needs to be balanced between gpu and cpu constantly to achieve max clocks
I would reckon series s would be even better at performance since it would be handling lesser resolutions
Yeah I get the same vibe. These guys can officially get all the tech through the tech giants. Ofc everyone has their biases but his final preview of series x was balanced
@thrust
Yeah that makes logical sense right? But remember how they were saying that the io through put will be different, essentially being able to stream more assets and decreasing repeatable junk data during game streaming? Could that mean higher quality assets even though with a lesser gpu? Honestly idk. So will wait for digital foundry. But like I said I need both systems. Can’t live without halo and last of us lol
@ziggurcat
Okay I see what’s happening here. The hoop that you’ve jumped through is that the definition of a base game is an unpatched / day one updateless disc. An update that requires an Internet connection to access a mode that requires said internet connection to play.
Yeah I can’t jump through that hoop with you. Possibly coz I stopped buying discs since 2014? Idk. Walking away from this contorted POV. Have a good day. ✌🏽
