In any other situation I would tend to agree with you but consider 2020 and covid. I’m not sure if that full 3 year cycle is actually a 3 year cycle.

Like Shawn layden had said earlier, maybe they have to make these single player games a shorter experiences at more frequency to keep the business sustainable? Most likely would be cross gen, especially since horizon is coming on the same year.

fable and avowed is the only exclusive for now. Will have to see what the MS plan is for Inexile and their next game. The bethesda slate for exclusivity is still up in the air, but all day one gamepass is still a big get.
Ah come on now , red dead 2 was on game pass, witcher is there, RE7 is there now (also now on psnow btw) , dishonored 2 is there (also on psnow) , spiritfarer is there now (which is great btw), gears 5 and tactics (pc) is there now as well, these are really good games. I played 3 yakuza games on it, and i'm considering getting the remaster collection on ps4 now.
i think the value proposition for playing all these for $15 a month is amazing, Buying tlou 2, Horizon, God ...

These studios need to survive and locking out the PlayStation base sounds like a terrible idea.

What’s baffling is that they haven’t put out any trailer for the remaster upgrades? I platinumed spiderman on my pro and I want to play that again with all the unlocked suits in hard mode , but I’m not sure what I’m buying till i see it.
And if they consider to make spiderman ps5 a free upgrade then they’ll have to scrap the ultimate bundle , what do you do for the people who already preordered...
Tod Howard said it in a statement they don’t plan to lock of games to one system or one screen. You can read his statement. I’m sure there’ll be some exclusive stuff too for Xbox.

Put the games on gamepass day one and sell it for $70 on PlayStation. That would be the best move for them.

It has ray trading on the one x. But the framerate really takes a hit when it's active. And it stutters like its struggling sometimes, it's still pretty look at.
Performance mode on one x is great though, enjoying it so far. It's nice to see implementation of ray tracing on one x since my gtx 1060 would cripple if I try to run it.

The ps4 with psnow would provide lengthy hours of entertainment. I’m in the middle of Godfall and recently they added hitman 2 to it. It’s a good time to be a gamer.
